Wait is this for real? If so, where'd you get it?
If it is for real, this is amazing.
Whatever it is, it doesn't contain the WH extract that is in Homestuck.
where did you get this? it seems legit
feels like Hussie's style, anywayIt was true. Herbert never took pride in his unusual name, and in fact had spent the better part of his life nurturing an understandable umbrage about the whole situation. But he’d never guessed that in reality, or at least this sub-reality he found himself in, that his name was actually a form of slur. It was tantamount to wandering around with a name like Poopey Hubert, or Shitty Higgins. Or perhaps, within a more risqué quadrant, something like Tarty Walter, or Hussie Andrew.
I'm assuming it's the same version that I downloaded off Tumblr last night, and eventually discovered the original source of (somewhere in Andrew's site's scraps directory) while posting in ComDisc.
EDIT: Hopy shit that was my 1000th post.
I'll save the specularnaodm for post 1025.
Hmm. Interesting.
@BLACKHOLE kudos on 1000 posts.
EDIT: You fake edited. SHAME ON YOU.

i dl'd it but i just finished The Book Of The New Sun and now I have to read Cat's Cradle and Ulysses and Closing Time and A Clockwork Orange and a collection of Roal Dahl and Eco-Fascists and The Great Bear Rainforest and like 6 or 7 other books i have out from work(the library, good thing I work there so I can make my due dates whenever I please huehuehue)
I'll get to WH eventually.
And there will be much rejoicing.
(yay)
oh wow I've kind of really wanted to read the original WH for a while now, thanks OA!
I can't believe I'm gonna actually get to read this! I've wanted to read it ever since Hussie talked about it wrt the drawings of Wizardy Herbert and his friends that were on Rose's wall, but I had no idea there was any way to actually read it.
Now Hussie just has to write and release Complacency of the Learned and everything will be all right.
I'm on page 174 right now and it is brilliant. It's a funny take on the wizarding world with unique aspects, intriguing plot and all around great writing.
I'm just sad he won't get around to completing the story, it is excellent and if it were published I would buy it SO HARD.
