Historystuck: Where dudes from history play a game that kills historians.
Historystuck
A few months ago a group of people in Comic Discussion decided to form a skype chat so they wouldn't spam up the thread too much. Late one night, three of these people started wondering what it would be like if historical figures were cast into the world of Sburb. A few days later, they'd doubled their number, and they formed their own skype chat. They came up with a list of eight characters, moved forward to 2012 and aged down to fifteen. These include such luminaries as Adolf Hitler, Marie Curie, and Jehanne d'Arc. The kids will play the game in a manner hopefully more like a Normal Session, alchemising and exploring and questing. Alliances and enmities and romances will festoon our tapestry of relationships, which hangs above a similar carpet of art, writing and music. We currently have a team of ten, and we're looking to fill it out with roleplayers, visual artists, and musicians. If this ridiculously peppy intro hasn't fazed your interest, send one of us a PM.
Morhekdit: There are some caveats - we really can't add to the roster of main characters, so if you want, say, Albert Einstein or Napoleon, there's really no room in the plot we have for them. The characters we do have already have writers for them, as well, so we're fine on that count.
On the other hand, what we have is still subject to change, and if anyone has a suggestion the rest of the team's ears will always be open, whether it be modifications to the plot, characters or places. What we REALLY need, however, is more great artists who can bring our story to life. Anyone who can convincingly emulate - not imitate, emulate - the basic MSPA and Hero Mode styles is more than welcome! We hope, eventually, to incorporate a small number of animations if possible, so any animators or musicians willing to lend a helping hand would be greatly appreciated!

So, yes, assistance would be great.
With more artists, it would mean we would be able to produce the comic at a much faster pace. Right now, we have a small team, but due to various reasons, they may not be available when we need them. This is where you guys come in.
Anyone interested should totally contact us if they are interested. Hell, if you think you know someone who you think would be interested and has artistic talent, hook us up. Get us in contact.
Also, if you need any more information, we'll be happy to provide.
To avoid confusion, but not by much ------> 'should have', 'could have', 'might have', 'would have'. Hoo hoo hoo, mm.
My avatar was probably made by someone awesome.

One day when young to the plains of Com'yc Descu'Sion, genteelGunslinger came across a small hole in the ground. He wasn't sure if he could fit his whole body in, so he stuck his head in.
A voice called up, "Who blocks the sky?"
"Someone is down here?" GG wondered incredulously. As the inspiration for the tales of Indiana Jones, Bing Crosby was known to never fear adventure. He pulled his head out of the hole and retrieved his pick from his pack. A few swift strokes allowed him to hop down into the darkness.
A hand grabbed his and pulled him up. "I am Everanix. Welcome to the cult of Vriska." cute of Vriska
"Who are you? I mean, I know your name. But why are you living in a tiny hole in the ground? This doesn't seem like much of a place for a cult."
"I thought it was a pipe. I wanted to flyyyyyyyy!"
GG, vaguely disconcerted, retrieved his lighter. "What are you, that you could fit into such a small hole?"
"I am Vriska." Before he could click the flaring device, Everanix flashstepped it out of his hands and held the flame to a torch. GG shuddered as he heard choruses of, "I am Vriska" echoing out beyond the feeble light. He heard a skittering as little girls with grey skin and horns crawled along the walls towards him.
"I'm"
"I'm not sure if I'm okay with this."
"I'm sorry if our appearance frightens you. We can assume our normal faces, if that would better please your honour." A voice from the far end of the cave, which seemed to be over a hundred metres in length.

Some of them we'd like to keep a surprise until we start this properly, or else it would spoil a bunch of stuff. Suffice to say that most of them are awesome, we have a reasonable balance in both genders and personality types, and all will be relevant to the plot.

I would like to extend profuse thanks to awfulAlliteration, who has joined the project, and to remind anybody reading that we are still looking for members of our art and/or music teams.

The project is still going, but the thread is inactive, if that is what you meant.
Alas, we failed to meet our Christmas deadline, and there are some final details we need to hammer out, but we shouldn't be too much longer.
