    Avenue Q

I hope this counts but this is a thread for the musical Avenue Q, I always kinda saw it as the musical that mocked all the things you were told as a child, that life is going to be easy and everything will always work out! That's why I love it, well there's more reasons why I love it, it just makes me smile whenever I hear about it!

My favorite is Kate, or Christmas Eve.

I love this show so much. I may know all of the words and sing along to nearly every song.

Not sure I have a favorite character, but "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist" may be the best song to ever exist and everyone should hear it ten times.

I have stopped myself from watching all of it, because I promised myself that I would try and watch it live before I die. I also want to see the Book or Mormon.

Still though. Schadenfreude is the best song ever. Period. Exclamation mark!

Ahh, one of my dream shows!! I was supposed to see it but my mom didn't buy the tickets in time and they sold out. If I ever hear it's playing anywhere else I have to go see it, or even audition for it. One of my other favorite shows ever is The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. If you love Avenue Q you're gonna love that one too.

I have all the songs of the show, and while all of the songs mentioned above are great, the song I like the best would be either "B.A. in English", or "The Internet Is For Porn".

    Both great songs

I'm actually performing in this about two weeks from now! I'm playing Rod.

It's the High School Edition, so some songs have been cut and changed. All of it's still written by the bookwriters, though. Plus, we actually changed some stuff back to the raunchy parts, so it's still pretty close to the original.

"Everyone's A Little Bit Racist" is a bit uncomfortable for me because I've heard it used as an excuse for casual racism and defending some pretty lazy jokes.

That said, I adore this musical. It's hilarious, a touching tribute to Sesame Street, and one half of the true best musical: Avenue Jew. "There's a Fine, Fine Line" is in my "Single, Alone and Strong" party mix (were such a thing to exist).
I make this comic. Let's be friends!

The older I get, the more relevant this musical becomes.

Someday, I imagine it'll be the soundtrack of my life, as it is for most 20+ i imagine.

Life is hard, but also hilarious.
