And I also. Gigantic monsters, anyone?

But for now, there are more pressing things to do. I kick Murllyshervo away from Nightmare to prevent further damage. Heroically. I think.

    I am going on a two-week vacation.
Since I'm reluctant to die in my absence, I would like to transfer control of my character to team Circe's Wrath, to use as they see fit.

Re: Rolling Thunder: A Roll-To-Dodge Grand Battle

ROLL 6: Let the battle be EXTREEEEEME!

Rufus: "In the meantime, Rufus tries to find a good weapon to defend himself with."
Roll: 5-Perfect Success: You manage to find a Stalagmite! It looks stabby.

Palamedes: "I launch a continuous stream of powered shouts at swampmist while he's stuck on the ground, in an attempt to keep him from getting up or focusing enough to use his powers."
Roll: 3-Marginal Success: You feel a bit winded, but you continue the assault on Swampmist!

SwampmistDodge: 2-Failure: But you can't move out of the way in time! You take the pain. (-7 HP)

SupahKiven: "I try to make myself another bowl."
Roll: 4-Success: You carve out a primitive bowl with another rock.

Knight of Hide: "I guess I'll try to imbue myself with the knowledge and experience of the most elite Samurai and Shaolin monks."
Roll: 1-Epic Failure: You feel the knowledge of ages flowing into you...! ...And flowing right out. Who were those 'Samurai' guys again?

Nightmare: "Nightmare realizes something looking at the violence around him, he's angry, so very angry in fact that it feels like he could turn into a rage monster if threatened from now on."
Roll: 2-Failure: You feel the need to become a RAGE MONSTER but you aren't really feeling it. Maybe if you had some GAMMA RADIATION.

Doofaeus: "i attempt to attract an animal ally"
Roll: 2-Failure: You find yourself quite unable to do much of anything as a gold statue.

Hero: ">I assist in the Swampmist instakill beatdown by slicing off his candy stump with my blade!"
Roll: 4-Success: You swipe at Swampmist's prone figure with your BRAMBLE BLADE!

SwampmistDodge: 1-Epic Failure: In your attempt to roll out of the way, you roll directly into it! The BRAMBLE BLADE cleaves off your licorice arm! (-13 HP)

Swampmist: "I'll try to encase my attackers in rock candy!!!"
Roll: 5-Perfect Success: You summon up a storm of sugary-watery-winds, and send it in the direction of your foes!

PalamedesDodge: 4-Success: You pull up your legs, avoiding the storm altogether!

HeroDodge: 4-Success: You weather the storm, shaking off any sugar crystals that materialize on your body!

Plumfinder: "Plumfinder transforms the rock in a radius of two feet around him into water, and climbs out of the newly-formed swimming pool."
Roll: 6-Overshoot: In your frustration, you send out a transmutative wave, transforming the area around you into water, as well as the top layer of the rock floor across the cave! Now everyone's feet are wet...

chimericWilder: "I'll get rid of my silly battlehat thing and instead try to majyck up a cloak of invisibility. Or well, invisibility-so-long-as-you-stand-still. Its a question of forcing light particles to bend around the object, according to science."
Roll: 2-Failure: Try as you might, you cannot remove the hat. Maybe it's cursed?

MurllyShevo: "Murllyshevo jumps high and delivers a powerful kick directed at Nightmare. A kick so strong, in fact, it will bury him on the ground up to his neck."
Roll: 3-Marginal Success: You get a running start through the river, and begin to jump kick Nightmare! However, you were too hasty, and your deadly pinky toe is nowhere near his face!

NightmareDodge: 5-Perfect Success: But you grab his foot, and toss him back into the river from whence he came!

Kaynato: "After noticing the other, less-worldly creations being utilized, I too attempt to create armor - Aluminum interior with Iridium shell - perfect for its use."
Roll: AUTO-FAIL: That is beyond your Domain of VISION!

ChurlishDwarf: "I call on Genesis! "On that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened... On that very day Noah... entered the ark.". May the waters rise as Noah's flood (if on a significantly smaller scale) while I sit safely inside my own conjured personal mini-ark."
Roll: 3-Marginal Success: You call upon Genesis! The water in the cave rises a bit, and now everywhere in the cave is designated as being in the river! A tiny toy ark appears.

MasterBlade: "Pull the Excalibur Sword from the lake."
Roll: AUTO-FAIL: There is no Excalibur Sword in the lake river, and conjuring one from it is beyond your Domain of TVTROPES!

DenizenShipper: "I kick Murllyshervo away from Nightmare to prevent further damage. Heroically. I think."
Roll: 7-Supernatural Success: The heavens cry out. The earth cries out. The people cry out! They cry out for you to destroy evil! The river recedes from your feet as you leap into the air. You strike a pose, and extend your foot! RIIIIIDEEEEEEEEEER.....

    KICK!

MurllyShevoDodge: 1-Epic Failure: You stand there, frozen in fear, and take the brunt of the hit right to the face! The sheer heroism imbued in the technique threatens to rend your existence apart in a badly-cropped special effects explosion!

MurllyShevoSurvive: 5-Perfect Success: But you're not going to be defeated like some monster of the week! Though you took heavy damage (-50 HP), you're still on your feet.

Oh yeah! Can you feel the thunder???

For my turn, I am going to try and augument the rune into a Monster Caller Science Device. The function of such a device should be obvious, I think.

Hero, I wouldn't mind your help here. One use I can think of for your manifesto would be to make it a Dangerous Monster Caller Science Device, which would always summon a monster when used and use the dice result to determine their temperment. Nightmare, I guess you can help too, if you want a giant, stompy version of yourself running around.

Hey Murllyshevo. You uh... need some help there? 'Cause if you want we can be a team. I can give you one of my bowls.
As I usually say to people, signatures are for people who care. And I care. Intensely. The intensity burns me just thinking about how much I care about signatures.

Ok I will apply myself to the summon rune, using my manifesto.
Also Murlly your archnemesis request has been denied, I don't care for petty revenge battles.

Murllyshevo is sick and tired of being in a river. And since everywhere on the room in now river, he has to revert Dwarf's diluvial maneuver by drinking all the water, all of it!

He also accepts SupahKiven's invitation to form a team.

Supahkiven raises an eyebrow and fills both his bowls with water and moves to higher ground.

I look at Doofaeus, Swampmist, and Churlish Dwarf (our enemy team) and inflict their ears with severe continuous white noise, rendering them near deaf and making it difficult to focus on special domain attacks (Tree Hugger, Candy, Librarian abilities).

Careful, Nightmare. Shard has only actually said that Manifestos can be used on the rune. Although maybe if you gave the items to Nightmare and then he applied his manifesto...

    This stuff is confusing.

So, are we doing this as a single, assisted action or 3 seperate actions?

So we could get it done as one action by assisting each other, since we're techincally just changing one object into another, radically different object.

Alright, so we're combining all 3 manifistos into the rune?
    Works for me!
As long as I can still augment it with the trash I appear to have collected.

I think using the items you have on it is still a seperate action so I'd choose the manifesto.

DS officially gets the seal of approval from Palamedes of Circle's Wrath for that line, and a suggestion that Three Man Band teams up with us so that we can get rid of this hive of scum and villainy.

Anyway, i'll have swampmist's shadow strangle him again!

Aaaand since Plumfinder gave our team control of him, methinks he should transform the water around Doof into lava! Not only does it burn nicely, it'll also cool down and encase him in rock.
I really should see about getting a new signature.

Re: Rolling Thunder: A Roll-To-Dodge Grand Battle

Remember that Doof is currently gold! I'd have Plum just kind of push him over so that he starts drowning. Plus, lava will probably go out kind of quickly in so much water. Alternatively, we could see if Plum can transform himself into a less wounded guy.
