as for other opinions: I still read scum on ~ATH because of the nature of his aggression D1, but I await his words today with eagerness

Sotek's in that null/lime area because while I see reason in his posts, he's also fairly quick to jump on things

Seastorm hasn't spoken, but is null/salmon at the moment because of the sinjin debacle and a lack of reasoning for the jacq lynch

I did not unvote tea from the pressure! I unvoted tea because something that I thought was happening wasn't happening. The "for similar reasons" part should be referring to earlier when I said that I voted for him for "~reasons~", sorry if that wasn't clear.

So, this Namboto thing. I'm... not entirely seeing what everyone is seeing, I don't think? The vote-and-unvote-once-pressured is a Thing, but a lot of what he says reads as a certain town role, and him trying to make sense of things logically.

The Tea/Acio situation day one had some spillover, and I'm not entirely comfortable with Tea, either.

And the Sotek/Dini buddying is troublesome! Like... I have townish reads on them? But it's borderline blatant and worries me slightly, and am not sure how much I can trust those reads, yet.

(The reason I didn't want to explain, MegaRock, was because I wanted to see how X reacted without knowing why I was doing it. I will often do things and not be willing to explain at the time, because explaining at the time would ruin my ability to get info out of it.)

I did, actually. I just jumbled my thoughts up horribly. I wanted to ask you two something, and then two people that weren't posting /their/ thoughts on the Acio/Tea situation, and...somehow combined them.

Eido: Yes, 'dini and I are blatantly doing a thing that resembles buddying. This is a thing that happens because we both want to nak our reads, both have similar reads, and have mutual townreads. I'm pretty sure it's just a natural consequence of our playstyles. (see: Nightside from day ... uh, four? on until our deaths.)

Anyway, I'm pretty sure my stance on the acio/tea thing was made clear D1, which is that I think Acio is town and I think Tea is being shady-but-not-outright-scummy. Acio vanishing ... makes me think he's either a false martyr or a false-martyr variant; either he vanishes of his own volition to attempt a kill-escape, or he vanishes on being killed, and then he returns at some later point. With the davy jones gifs he was throwing around, I'm inclined to guess he'll return with a kill but I could be wrong there, because this is venturing way out into speculation-land.

Jacq flipping town doesn't affect that read? It makes GX look better somewhat, and makes other people look worse, but wagon analysis is NOT just "who voted them where", it's a lot more in depth than that, and I'm ok with the Aciovote on the Jacqwagon. I am trying the thing I did in nightside of only doing vague analysis until a while in at which point I'm gonna build my in-depth spreadsheet for deep analysis, since that seemed to work pretty okay there - right now my analysis is kind of loosey-goosey.

Basically: X has a pattern by which he casts his "random" vote, every game. Him following that pattern is in and of itself a nulltell, even though I do believe that RVS can be used for tells if you're careful about it. HOWEVER, I believed at the time of my vote on him that he had multiple choices of who to put his vote on to follow that pattern, and if that were the case the person he chose would have been a scummy person for him to choose. He explained why the people I believed would follow his pattern would in fact NOT have followed the pattern, thereby removing that choice and reducing his vote to a pure nulltell, instead of the scumtell I thought it was. That is why I unvoted.
I was willing to show my hand because I gained nothing by concealing that hand anymore, because it was based on a false assumption. Implying that I'm a gambiteer is uh. Not a problem? I /like/ it when scum think I'm gambiting because they almost never can guess the exact gambit I'm doing so it ends up with them wining themselves super-hard about me and my gambits getting to actually work.

I dont really have a problem with the sotek/dini buddying... it is less the classic mafia term of "buddying" and more a sense of cameradrie between two people who play mafia games together a lot and tend to have similar veins of thinking. That does not, of course, imply that either of them are scum.

Also, whilst this Nambato pressure is all well and good i certainly hope people dont forget about Slayer0 and PP (the latter of whom my vote is still on, and i will wall if i absolutely have to to get people to notice her).
