Massive Bunny Meetup 2012 - Washington DC, August 4-5

Like the original Massive Bunny Meetup, we’re celebrating the journey of a bunny across time and space (mostly space) with a weekend gathering of MSPA/Homestuck fans from across the country in Washington, DC, August 4-5. This year, we’ll be having a picnic at the national zoo and making our way around the various museums, as well as just generally hanging out and having fun. Here's the official tumblr, updates will be posted here and there simultaneously so follow wherever you wish. Hope to see you there!

Times and Places:

Day 1 (8/4): The National Zoo!
We will spend much of the day wandering the zoo, either as a unit or in smaller groups, then reconvene for a picnic afterwards! Bring a lunch for yourself and snack-y foods to share, or just plan to mooch off of other’s generosity you moocher. Time and meeting spot TBD.

Day 2 (8/5): Whirlwind Museum Tour!
Meeting at 11am at the base of the Washington Monument, we’ll make our way through the Smithsonian Air and Space, Natural History, and American Art museums! (Not necessarily in that order, though). Group photos may be taken. Lunch will be stopped for at some point during the day.

Dress Code:
Wear whatever you want! We’re going to be spending a lot of time outside and/or walking around, so I’d discourage any elaborate cosplays (bulky/heavy/high maintenance stuff); this isn’t really a con anyway, so there’s no need to go all-out on anything. Just be safe, comfortable, and appropriate, and above all have fun.
