What you need to make is more games. Strike while the iron is hot, and "Oh, this is made by the guy who made Slender!" could end up being very useful for you.

Submitting it to Softpedia could possibly be a solution. You have to give them quite a bit of info and they will want to playtest it first, but you don't have to worry about them removing it if it gets to much use. An old version is already up that could be updated, but it's in the mac section and not the games one so it hasn't gotten much traffic.

I've talked to them about it. As long as it's a different game and they're not calling it Slender, I'm okay with it. I know I'm not going to be the only Slender Man game on the block.

My sister and I both hate horror but we downloaded and played it anyway. It's pretty fun, actually, and can be hilarious when there are at least two people there. Our first try we did like on Roosterteeth where I controlled the WASD keys and she had the trackpad. We got one page before the inability to cooperate got us killed. The second time, I played on my own while she watched.

Her: "Oh that's the long tube thing, you gotta go in it to get the page, but you can't see the end of it from the inside."
*walks to entrance, Slendy's right there*
Me: "AUGH NOPENOPENOPE IT OUT"
*turn flashlight off, run away from the tunnel*

I've seen this game all over youtube, and the scary thrill keeps driving me back for more. I could never actually play it, but...

Now I randomly see this thread, and I'm hugely shocked to know that you're the creator and this is where it started. Darn you! Last night I was outside, and I saw a white circle in the distance, so I kept my eye on it, thinking it was Slenderman. I guess after watching so many videos of this I can't really help it!
