This seems like a semi-big find to me:

So I was searching Greek mythology for Homestuck references like the huge nerd (bluh bluh) I am, when I found the "Moirai".

Then from that page I find the god known as Lachesis. I am aware that Lachesis is a female god, but it's still pretty interesting.

Disambiguation for Lachesis is also interesting, it lists not only an asteroid by the name of Lachesis which was found on April 10, 1872, 137 years before the Homestuck BETA (1+3+7=11), but also a unique group of pitvipers (which are represented in the Cherubs symbols). So I guess what I'm trying to say is that uu's name is Lachesis. There is just so much symbolism there it has to at least mean something if it's not his name.

The select-character update has to be a flashback. He's writing to Calliope, which makes no sense if she's not going to wake up again. It's a little disconcerting having a jump like that without something in the middle, but it's the only conclusion that makes sense right now, barring some ability to chat backwards in time or something.

The leg is probably how Caliope figured out that uu is going to succeed in entering alone. It's her signal that she can no longer use her chains to keep him from entering until they both can.

Roxy could be dead, but it is dumb to think that the fact we were shown it is conclusive. The text flat out says he's assuming it. It also makes the blackout completely pointless. It can't be because she's dead, as then he would have seen her die before it happened. It's still possible she's dead--Hussie's plan could have been that we'd all think she wasn't and then say "I told you we both know she's dead." But to argue from how it was drawn is dumb.

Now to go find where you guys started talking about the next update. Man, it would be so much easier if they'd make a new thread for each day's update, instead of just at an arbitrary number of posts. Or at least edit the first post to include a link to the first post after an update.

And, yeah, while I was reading through the forum, there's another update--one that may confirm or deny my theories. I guess I'll wait until I've read a bit about the previous update before checking it out.

I used to be thinking that Roxy dieing and Dream Dirk falling unconscious wasn't what really happened due to uu speculating, but now that we've seen that it really happened to Dream Dirk and that he says everyone is either unconscious or dead, it seems like there's little chance that Roxy isn't dead. Though I'm sure hoping so.

Also, you can check the RSS feed for when the updates were put up! I always check that too, and then go to check out the first reactions to the updates. It's easy to find it that way.

Or Calliope doesn't know for sure this is the last time she wakes up, because Skaia blacked out on her before she dream-died. It's possible she's not even so much "asleep" as "unable to control the shared body" when uu is active. Calliope tends to accept what uu says at face value (even if Roxy isn't really dead, see below), and she has all the same information uu has via viewports anyway. So why would she tell Roxy, who, as far as she can tell, is as good as dead, what to say to stop uu? You don't give your living will to someone who's going to die before you do.

Let's go over what we saw, in order:
uu's moniter blacked out before Roxy got hit.
we saw Roxy get hit in a panel not drawn by uu.
uu drew a shitty "DEAD" panel, labeled "artist's rendition".

That could mean (a) Roxy didn't get hit. We saw uu's imagination. It could also mean (b) Roxy did get hit, but uu didn't see it, much like he didn't actually see Dream Dirk get knocked out.

As to the blackout, remember that the blackout around Rose persisted past her grimdeath. It is possible that Roxy's entry into the session is timed with the arrival of the meteor, and that a blackout effect still in existence around Rose is the reason Calliope couldn't see into the session past that point. We have no reason to believe that Rose's blackout ever went away, given that it followed her into her dreamself's body.

John had a LOWAS firefly stuck in amber in his inventory at one point. Serenity is probably another one, or maybe the exact same one, although Lord knows how she got into the meteor station. John did leave that chunk of amber lying around his house, though, when Vriska had him rifle through his entire inventory for her, and some salamander could have wandered off with it.
