At this point, I've been convinced that there's no such thing as coincidence, and everything that can possibly be a thing is, in fact, a thing. If anything, it gets double points for the twins and the name wordplay (Sol Lux = Sun Light (those are both Latin words), Captor = a person who has captured a thing). Though, the "double light" or "two light" idea would only make sense if he had, say, two colours associated with him that normally flash, like emergency vehicle lights and/or dying universes.

But that's probably not true, since every character, including Sollux - No, ESPECIALLY Sollux - has only one thing about them ever.

Nah, I remember not liking the name Sollux Captor because it was derived from just switching around a few letters from Pollux Castor for no reason, which I didn't like. I highly doubt that Hussie noticed anything Husspect about the name. There have been all sorts of crazy coincidences throughout Homestuck, but as many as there are that were intentional, there are an equal quantity of them that were just random and unintentional. Even Lord English's similarity to Lord British was only made retroactively.

I just noticed a physics flaw.

Calliope's Body is Green. The sun produced red light.

Given the fact that the color green is produced by white light hitting a green surface, and all light except green being absorbed, that would mean that Calliope would appear black in the red sun's light, since no green light would be refleced. Nor would she appear red because no red light is reflected.

It's funny that Sollux is bipolar but Gamzee is the one who has the messiahs. Bifurcation is a very important motif in Homestuck.

I feel like there is a very complicated origin for LE that is not simply FG coding and jujus and such. We know that he is "summoned" into a universe by Doc Scratch, and I guess it is always a cue ball head, but I don't think that is the full story (for more news check out nytime.con it's totes legit).

Hmm and it only takes one (the only successful one) Doc Scratch for the demon to enter the universe and eat it. Ehh this is just rehashing everything that's been said months past.

I think what people like BYB are getting het up about is the fact that Scratch and the LE code must be placed there deliberately - hence he must have an origin.

Personally I don't think it'd be strictly necessary since there are already a whole load of self-fulfilling prophecies in SBURB already! But it's nice to theorise and even nicer to be right every once in a while.

I am presuming that uu won't change much of his dress when he wakes up, but maybe he'll reverse a couple of things? Reversible clothing suddenly sounds really awesome to me.
