what the fucks up with Sollux and Aradia. I feel like they are in some sort of limbo class between important and non-important trolls. Maybe we will meet them when we see what Vriska and Tavros have been doing but I feel like their should have been or should be a mention of them soon.

Emphasis on Sollux because what the fuck is going on with him? I realize there will likely be a flashback soon and Hussie will fill in the details but...

I guess i am complaining that the entire story is not already completed for my perusal.

Speaking of complaints, I hope Kanaya gets a more central role in the next Intermission, she's been sort of a wallflower throughout Act 6.

But at the same time, I'm sort of worried that she'll just be focused on her inexplicable hate-boner for Gamzee again.

There's so many other things from her past that seems incomplete and could use some expansion, like her relationship with Doc Scratch, or how it made her a vampire, or how she became a vampire at all, or how she feels about her duties, or what the deal she turned down with her Denizen was, or how she feels about Vriska, or how she feels about Rose even. There's so many opportunities especially in this setting with all the dreambubbles around. I'd be disappointed if all that gets shafted for "Kanaya And Her Sudden Desire To Go Hate Straight For A Clown She Never Talked To". Like, if the Gamzee thing leads into stuff that's actually previously important to her character then it would be fine, but if the clown is all we get, then I'd almost prefer her not say anything at all, is how disappointed I'd feel.

I wish Terezi and Sollux would be less important than they are. I find the two of them boring and they do nothing except being boulders. Terezi lost her self-esteem and Sollux his Vision Twofold. They would be better dead than alive.

Just think I should mention that Doc Scratch never stated that his meetings with Kanaya turned her into a living lightbulb. I feel like Kanaya's current form is actually due to her powers as a Sylph of Space. Doc Scratch meeting with Kanaya was due to her being a Space player as well (since they seem to have the closest relationships with the FGs of their planets).

Character Select Screens should involve some selections. If there aren't any done yet, just do a normal transition!

Hussie has already answered this. To paraphrase, he said that the serial readers are kind of screwed in this regard, because he sets everything up so it will make sense to archival readers, including serial readers who go back and look at something in the archives. Have you ever gone back and read the section around a character select screen after the panels have all been completed? It is a fun and interesting way to view content, and it highlights the fact that multiple things are happening concurrently, like in a flash.

Yeah I've been thinking along similar lines, that Kanaya got to be a vampire for the same reason Eridan got to blast white stuff from his wand, ie their titles.
But at the same time, Doc Scratch still attributed angels to Eridan unlocking his title powers, and if Kanaya is a vampire because she healed herself with Space or something then he attributes himself to unlocking her title powers in the same way
And I guess I'm just curious on the specifics of that, if it goes beyond "Helping her wake up on Prospit"

Same. If the First Guardian is the main culprit, then it makes all the difference. Besides, on that panel with Meenah and silhouettes behind her : Maryam doesn't seem to show any sign of Rainbow Drinker transformation. Also, I wonder if the Wand filled with Hope didn't alter Eridan's personality as well. Where Eridan perceives Kanaya as having faith in him, and compared it to how Jake puts his faith in everyone else always saying "Fuck yes fellow I believe in you" to pretty much anyone he talks to.

Since Hope destruction had already begun for a while on the meteor, why not pursuing the task further ? I still believe Eridan used the Jack plan as an excuse to blow everything hopeful in sight since he went insane and woke his genocidal complex during Hivebent.

Also new complaint : if Bec Noir continues to be important even after EOA5, I will be seriously disappointed. We've seen all his tactics, he destroyed a whole universe, he backstabbed people and moreover, his end is approaching, with Lord English being more powerful and PM behind him. He's more likely to meet his end soon. And if that's not the case, he will become my least favourite character of Homestuck. That's all I can do, in the reasonable.

I always felt as though Sollux was a major character with the focus of a minor character. When looked at, he's made some pretty important contributions to the plot! Made SGrub, had visions of the future, established communications between the trolls and humans, and also flew the meteor to the Green Sun. However, we never really got to know him that well, just that he was rather moody, in some relationship with Fef, and Karkat's best friend. I feel like he should have had more characterization considering his position in the story.

I have to agree with this. The only way I wouldn't be disappointed with this Kanaya-Gamzee relationship is if it was part of a "LOVE-HATE N-DRANGLE" involving some other characters. (And if this is the case, I might still feel a little weirded out :/ )

Since this is a new thread I will complain for the third time that Feferi needs some character development and the horrorterrors need some exposition REALLY badly. It is the only major fault in Homestuck, really. 21 other characters that have flaws, hopes, and at least some depth, and then Feferi.
