I don't remember it being really said in canon, and I'm really not sure either.

There's plenty of evidence for either, but Feferi once used a "" for Sollux and referred to Aradia as Sollux's close friend.

And Aradia didn't seem to have much trouble flip-flopping between love and hate for Equius.

I guess the most likely would be Sollux Aradia and Sollux Feferi then.

Unless Sollux has 2 moirails/matesprits. Which would also make (some) sense since Sollux and Feferi had been feelings jamming.

I always thought that Sollux and Aradia were matesprits before she died/before they entered the game, and that they had somewhat drifted apart after he killed her. After that he began spending time with Feferi and they became matesprits after she brought him back to life.

I dunno, this has just always been my assumption, but I guess it's just speculation.

Actually no, I just loaded up the flash to check but Nepeta's got Fef and Sollux down as . I mean she's not a perfect judge of character but I feel like at that point they'd probably been going out for a few weeks and Nepeta would have probably got the memo by now I guess.

So, about Kernelsprites, and their appearances.

Prototype it once, and it looks like a floating head/object in a flashing orb. Prototype it again (or just enter the Medium and allow it to hatch), and it turns into a ghost-looking thing.

So why did Jade's Kernelsprite go straight from unprototyped orb to fully-hatched sprite when Bec entered it? It was only prototyped once, and Becsprite was definitely looking all ghost-like well before Jade entered the Medium. Is there a given reason for this?

I'm not even kidding, Andrew said that (basically). I think we can just assume that there are no rules for when a Kernelsprite fully 'matures'. Maybe it does so according to the will of its components. Or because of knowledge/commands Skaia bestowed on them. Whichever.

Thanks. I forgot that the "battlefield" was a silly 3x3 chessboard. Had it in my head that it was the big 3d world like in the pre-scratch session.

They appeared because the Battlefield evolved (from a small chessboard, to a larger chessboard, to a cube, to an entire planet, and then those tendrils appeared). We don't know what those things are, though. Probably just there to add another dimension to the war.

In comic, Snowman at the terminal is referred to as the "8th exile" and we know four of the others were Slick, Boxcars, Droog and Deuce. Do we have any idea who the others were? It seems like Snowman was able to attempt to communicate with more than one troll (she tried Vriska but couldn't get a response so she went to Terezi) so... I assumed there must have been an exile for each person like there was in B1... but if Snowman made up for several then perhaps not? Err... yeah... Do we only know about those five?

Ah, quite possibly I'm actually not sure about the order, unless I've forgotten a bit I think CD and HB's parts come after Snowman's first appearance, although perhaps it was mentioned during the Intermission when Slick found his own terminal, which would make Snowman the 8th... Anyway, that's fair enough

When the B1 kids prototyped, they said there were two tiers for prototyping and the sprites were not able to communicate verbally until the 2nd prototyping. However, when the trolls prototyped their lusii, they were able to communicate verbally after the 1st prototyping. What's up with that?

The sprites are able to communicate verbally as long as they are prototyped with something that could have this ability. Anything alive, basically.

We saw the un-nanna'd harlequinsprite speaking gibberish, and we saw crowsprite cawing, and we saw Becsprite doing his glowy 413 (which was actually a decipherable message, so it could be argued that your point is invalid), but we never saw the un-princess'd Jaspersprite say anything (probably because he only existed for about a minute while Rose was running around her house trying not to be crushed by wizard statues or burning trees). It could just be that the tier one prototyped sprites just didn't have anything they felt was sufficiently urgent that they needed to communicate in an intelligible manner, however that's just speculation. It's not even uniform that they can communicate once they've been prototyped with something dead, because crowsprite just caws as he pecks the shit out of Dave.

I guess the short answer is: we don't know. It's never been explained in the comic.

There you have it, then. Counting off from WV, PM, AR, and the Midnight Crew, Snowman would be the 8th exile to be shown with WQ and WK the 9th and 10th shown as Exiles.
