I'm torn. I have two contradictory ideas of what should be done next.

1: Katia: You have just conquered the greatest demon in your life. Now go and smite the second. Sleep now, and strike down the dark visage of the 'King' that haunts your dreams.

OR

2: Katia: Don't do that. You would win, but then awake to find the world around you in flames. You beat the amulet of silence, I have no doubts that you might do it again, in your sleep, which you already proved you can use abilities in and effect the world around you. I like this chapel, and indeed all of this town save that guild, and don't want it to prematurely burn to the ground.

Oh... ****. I didn't think of that.

If we can't count on the amulet to prevent Katia from casting, sleep might be a very bad idea.


I'm also not sure she can just "beat" the King of Dreams. It's not so much that it's powerful. It's that normal rules don't apply in a dream-state. Victory is a nebulous, shifting thing, there.

Sigrid is taking wholly legal substances, and using them in illegal fashion. Sigrid, no matter how nice a person, is not above the law you know. Report her ass.

As well, even if Sigrid might not be enough to make the Imperial Guardsman look into her actions, the house does have a rather bloodied, suspicious room with Necromatic objects all about. Why not mention those as well. If he won't leap in to arrest Sigrid, maybe he might go in after the illegal necromancy remains in the guild basement. To protect the city and the empire from possible illegal threats. You've seen how energetic he is.

a-The chapel may not burn down [tho a lot of stone building have a lot of wood in them], but the blanket will and that is both immediately useful and close to all you have in the world. Put out the flames.
b-Reporting the highly respected and admired all but queen of the city by this broke foreigner who has no occupation or honest income? Obviously a case of criminal slander. Throw the cat in jail is the likely response. No. Katia must accept that she got screwed and look for a way to survive, not for a revenge she can't get.

Katia ! you should realy be proud of you ! you have a great power in you in despite of all you bad thought, and i'm not talking about that fire but about your capacity to refuse to fall back in your addiction on booze even if you lost all hope and when nothing can comfort you anymore, you made the best and the hardest choice for yourself.
Now you should sleep a bit if you can, but before maybe you could just try again to pray the nine, to thanks them for giving you the strength to overcome your alcoholism and to ask them to help you anymore to face your (maybe) nightmare of this night.
They could hear you this time, you deserve a little bit more attention in view of the courrage you have shown.

Now I thought something about people who said that is impressive from katia to be able to cast spells without any puns.
I don't think is impressive , puns are used to make katia feel sad and when she is sad, she is able to cast spells.
With recent event, she was angry and sad enough to cast spell whitout our help.
This is not just the cat jokes which make Katia able to use magic, this is her great sensitivity.

I never realized I have an account on here. The only reason I didn't submit commands was because I thought I didn't have an account, and I was too lazy to create one. :P I feel like what happened is, I made an account, but for some reason the forum still wouldn't let me post. Or something. XD

Anyway, I posted this as a Facebook status a few minutes ago, and then realized it would make a great command, so here it goes, my first command ever!

P.S. If anyone's said this before me, I didn't see it, but nobody seems to have said it after me, or quoted it from earlier, so I have to assume no one's said it:

How do we know that Katia caused the fire? Perhaps it was some kind of potion that ignites after being released from the bottle. Just a suggestion, though I much prefer the idea that Katia's JUST THAT AWESOME.

Fortunately, she's not terribly subtle about it. People who are in her thrall are almost like zombies at the sound of her name, so it should be fairly easy to sound townspeople out about Sigrid without committing ourselves to a course of action. A path may present itself by simply talking to the townspeople.

I don't know why so many comments say that Katia isto angry whith Sigrid. We hate Sigrid. Katia was angry with herself. and was angry with alcohol.

First, you have a blanket. Cut a hole in the center of it and use it as a poncho if you have to. Once your head is through, get a feel of where you can make the arm holes and then slit those open. Its better than being fully indecent. Once you can do that, you can look for something more adequate.

Why not use the blanket like a toga? So it would not be necessary to cut the only tissue that she could find.

Of course it was. This solved some of the immediate problems, including the recently improved nightmare problem. Now she has to stop her own pyrotechnic powers, new, and avoid causing harm to others and herself during her sleepwalking struggles. She also needs money to get restore her material goods.
It would also create new problems, but we have to deal with one thing at a time.

Now, on to the real business: Your Amulet. Is it broken? Are you just too powerful-slash-awesome for it? Was I right in an earlier belief that it's not the cat puns that cause the fire, but the anger it causes you? In either case, I have one suggestion for you:
Sell it.
It's clearly not going to work for you anymore.
An amulet like that will give you quiet a bit of gold, broken or no. More than enough to replace Quill-Weave's book and pay her back for the damages you drunkenly did to her house.
Besides, you're Katia Effing Managan. You don't need an amulet to control your powers. You need to learn to rely only on yourself to do that.
