    Hey, if the robot is going to give free upgrades, might as well see if we can more take advantage of this...

    It can't be the year 3113. Can it? This has obviously got to be some sort of elaborate trick. Your experience with quantum physics tells you that time travel is very implausible. You want to rule out all other options before assuming that.
