Also, my magnum opus is under construction. It is pretty bad so far, but I am not sure I will ever be quite bad enough. Is there any advice a person could get on making the worst possible art?

Yeah, her consorts probably created a grist vending machine somewhere along the way, and that's what Seb's taking her to. And it takes boondollars, so she can finally get stuff without having to have enemies to face.

There's something very calming about going through a mechanical motion. Going through the design is a relatively small part of the process, most of it is filling in the spaces.

My body kind of goes on autopilot, and my mind wanders. It's a nice way to be alone with my thoughts, mull things over, and it (apparently) produces some cool stuff as well.

Dark side of the moon has nothing to do with the side tha is actually dark at the moment it is being observed. It is all about the side Earthlings have never seen with their own eyes. BEcause that phrase was made up a long time ago, by English-y people instead of Science-y people.

I know that. But long ago that usage reached a point of ubiquity where it switched from "a poetic thing which is understood by all to be poetic" to "a thing which causes actual real world confusion because it is taken literally". Therefore I hate it. You should call it the far side of the moon, because that's what it is. There is an actual dark side of the moon already, stop trying to misappropriate its name.

I see the whole problem with the Troll's relationships as being the fact that most of them are trying to reenact those of their ancestors on some level. Vriska is so obsessed with becoming Mindfang that she involves herself with Eridan, who is equally obsessed with becoming Dualscar, and forms a hatefriendship with Terezi to reenact what might have been between Redglare and Mindfang if the former hadn't been killed, and then tries hateflirting with Tavros because of the Summoner thing. The problem is that these relationships were all unhealthy, and shouldn't have been emulated. Terezi and Vriska don't really hate each other, they just thought they did. Likewise, Vriska's red feelings for Tavros are founded on a completely wrong premise - that he is like his ancestor. And Eridan...well, he's just Eridan, and follows in his ancestors footsteps to an ignominious death.

In fact, if Homestuck is about any one thing, I would say that its stepping out of your mentors' shadow and becoming your own individual. John idolises his father, but eventually takes his own path. Rose and Dave recognise the flaws in their Mom and Bro and set out to do their own thing early on. And Jade only has vague memories of her Grandpa. Meanwhile, Jane is still being groomed by Betty Crocker and will have to stand up against her, Jake is in a similar situation to Jade, and Roxy and Dirk only have old records and pop culture from their ancestors, and have to piece together their legacy.

I just realized that I had Flash all along when I could have been working on my Nepeta project!

Things I plan on doing someday: Learning Flash animation because using all Gimp is Gosh near impossible.

Also, that's a nice picture but I'm pretty sure Arms prefer when there is thighs.

Other thing I plan on doing: Someday understanding why thighs. Because I can understand a lot of things in a detached sort of way, but why thighs for Arena? Why not randomly assigning her neck to be her best feature? Necks are sexy right? That and elbows. Gosh I love a good set of elbows.

I wish that was the case. Even if it was, how would we know? The lesbian relationships in homestuck are so cold and passionless that a single raised eyebrow is enough to incite a shipping frenzy. Maybe my problem is just the fact that public affection disgusts me except when the participants are girls. Don't get me wrong, unlike most of my thoughts, it isn't a sex thing. It is simply the one case where I don't mutter under my breath "get a room already you tongue suckers"

Of course that'd be in there. What use is a game system if it cannot be abused? I think that's one of the founding tenets of games; abuse it for fun.
