IDE/Theory: Given that a muse is the most passive class along with some of Calli's artwork/visions, I'm guessing it might be somewhat similar to our common definition of a muse. A muse is something that gives inspiration as opposed to the one being inspired. So, it's looking like her artwork/visions may end up giving uu the knowledge he needs to travel to different universes (via doc scratch/white ball seed/juju) where he can wreak more havok as the time-traveling demon. Also, considering the highly possible class title for uu being "lord", if you think of it in terms of royalty "prince" is already a symbol of destruction. It might have something to do with his indestructible title adjective, too.

Hmm, now that I think of it, another IDE occurred to me. What if Doc Scratch is a juju literally himself since that is partly what he was created from. Given the always existing aspect of jujus, once LE comes through into a universe, destroying Scratch in the process, he is then moved to a new iteration in a new universe (that is if I'm correctly grasping the concept of jujus).

B2 will create the Uuniverse, which is why the Condesce has a vested interest in the B2 crews success.
Lord English is simply setting the stage for his own birth, much like he sets re stage for his own summoning.

Also the fandom/hatedom being the final boss is deliciously Earthboundian.

Seems very likely. I'd been thinking that, if uu was Lord English, the lost leg would probably be a kind of Saw reference, and of course the chain seals the deal! But at the same time it could just be a parallel. I haven't seen so much mention of it, but Lord English could just as easily be uu's ancestor.

Edit: Unless he's his own ancestor? Given the way ectobiology probably works in a two-player session, that could well be the case.

IDE/Theory: The entire reason behind Lord English's universe eating? Cherubs are born across various universes and tend to be very spaced out. By consuming them he leaves less "empty" universes for other mates to wander in and makes them easier to find in other ones. All of his of plans, all of his destruction is for one simple goal: to mate.

A2 and B1 are usually associated with the colors blue and red, respectively, as in the Tumor bomb, the curtains in the Seer: Descend palace, and the act dots on the Homestuck CD sleeve Terezi had. Act six/the six curtains after the Scratched record platform were green. There is also a red/green swap in the Sgrub cursors, post-Scratch. That makes B2 the green universe, and Act 6 the green act.

(None of this is news, if you've been watching the symbolism obsessively, I'm just summarizing.)

The last dot on the CD sleeve is white; so is the room on the other side of the second teleport panel, shaped like Skaia. So in theory white is the symbolic color for Act 7, and possibly for the universe that will be created in Act 6, if that is indeed what happens in Act 6.

That universe, the white universe, would be the product of the red and green universe sessions, merged together.

So.... that is another way to read UU's painting.

(The fact that the white is being sucked away in an accretion disc is certainly ominous, in that case.)

I think the Saw reference was established the first time uu said "LET'S PLAY A GAME, DIRK." That is about the time when he started to get the red cheek curlies in fanart. I think that Hussie never meant to go any farther with the Saw references after that one phrase, but then the fandom got carried away and Hussie is rolling with it just to troll us. I think that at this point, HS is reenacting Saw and everyone should go watch all 7 movies. For research.

i dont understand why people think this? andrew isnt making things up as he goes along. the Saw thing - puppets and puzzles - has been around since act 2, and now its an important part of the story.

when andrew connected uu to jigsaw he definitely had lord english's missing leg in mind. it was even hinted at earlier, when jake was introduced ("You'd give your RIGHT LEG...") and during jack's jailbreak adventure ("Better not stomp on it. It might explode and take your leg off.")

nothing in act 6 will become "retroactive foreshadowing" like the betty crocker references in act 1. it's all deliberate.

Idle thoughts:

What if the Horrorterrors sent Jack? If the Horrorterrors oppose English and maybe all of Skaia, maybe they spoke to Jack like they speak to the Derse dreamers. It'd make sense, because we never see anyone else communicate with him more normally to 'put out the hit' (of course it could just happen off screen).

Glyb'golyb is the Horrorterror's emissary to Alternia, to destroy it with the vast glub, but he fails to do so in time because the Condesce suppresses him psychically, so they turn their attention to Bilious Slick. They don't have a Horrorterror chilling on Earth, so they whisper to Jack.

What if the angels herald the destruction of universes not because THEY destroy them, but because the Horrorterrors are constantly destroying any universe with an angel in it to try and wipe them out, assuming angels are full-grown cherubs. (Possibly UU is the last of his kind, even, thanks to Eridan. Probably not, but it would be hilarious if Eridan was partially responsible for the whole mess with his f- ups.)

UU is Skaia!

See, at some point during their session, something happens, and while uu becomes LE, UU becomes Skaia to try and combat him! And thus, the two are forced to play a game for all of eternity!
