Just a nickname for the chat forum. It is a shortened version of MovieCodec. The Roleplay is hosted in 'the lounge' which is a subforum which evolved out of the larger MovieCodec forums. The MovieCodec forums (as the name would suggest) are a tech forum dedicated to codec's on media files, specifically movies.

I am one of the more active members of the forum and decided to pull together this roleplay due to a large number of individuals expressing an interesting in the Homestuck universe. I have a background as a Bachelors of Computer Science working in the software security industry, which I am incorporating into the universe in some fairly interesting ways (similar to how Andrew Hussie makes a lot of technologic based references and puns). We also have a published author helping to develop the story board for the over-arching plot of the roleplay.

Should be a fairly interesting adventure in my opinion.
