I'm just going to say that at first, colwag's opinions made me think the man was insane, which, from what I gather, is probably correct, so I chose not to like him from the get go(for instance, his arguments about Dave and how he was suicidal or something really bugged me, and were absolutely baseless, as argued by Greyscale, from memory).

Then, mO told me to be more tolerant of him, because he wasn't such a bad guy.

Since Aranea is waiting for Jake to say something, my guess would be that he's going to explain how he became Jade's penpal. I really want to know how this happens, and why. We've seen Roxy's paradoxifier can access both sessions, even if the screens are broken, so perhaps there's something similar on Jake's island? My guess is that this is going to be part of the B1 Kids' plan to ensure their entry into the B2 session after they've entered through Weird Time Shit.

Also, with phrases like A1/A2, B1/B2, Beta Kids and Alpha Kids, Jake and John are going to have a x2 Confused Freakout moment together. It will be glorious.

For ComDisc? I open to the latest post since my departure, I check if someone said something to me for two pages, then I skip to the latest page to see what's everyone talking about. And then I always find someone to answer to.

His transmaterializer can access both sessions; that's how he was able to send Jade the bunny, and how he was able to appearify numerous pumpkins (Jade's). Maybe Jade left him a note inside one of those pumpkins, because she knew that she would have to contact him? She saw it in Skaia's clouds, possibly.

I tend to just read everything unless it's a lot, in which case I read every second page. Usually if I do that quotes will alert me to anything interesting I missed in the pages I didn't read.

This is similar to how I operate. Sometimes, I do massive reply lists. Other times, it's just occasional replies along the way to the lastest page.

Lately, I've been to tired to do either of those, and just go to the lastest page. That always works.

If you like big stories, then I would advise you to read Frontierstuck. It's a really beautiful Alternate Universe, mostly centering around Rose and Kanaya. With alchemy. It's pretty violent, though, in some parts. And there's...hum...explicit moments of "intimacy", if you know what I mean.

I'm fairly sure Alpha and Beta can be shorted down into A and B so I don't really see why they have to be separate ways of labeling the universes.

The thing with taking Alpha and Beta as labels is that both names are already associated with timelines; that is, the Alpha timeline, and its numerous doomed timelines, the Beta.

I am confused with the terminology for the universes as is. I either say Post/Pre-Scratch kids session or Post/Pre-Scratch troll session. It's longer, but atleast everyone who reads it knows immediately what you are talking about, and it's easier to follow.

Having just read this delicious spud, I must say Mind-Dirk is a troll (in the common internet sense) of epic proportions. It's also interesting to learn Aranea and the other ghosts had no real accesses to the human universe for most of the time, and that the Horror-terror indeed have control over travel between the bubbles, which was something I was wondering about. It was also nice for Hussie to reference Aranea's tendency to talk too much.
