When you sync the voices, don't do it perfectly. If possible, run it through japanese and sync it to that, then make the voices match like some kind of re-dub.

Well, shouldn't we be making the best project regardless of style? What makes anime well... anime, is that it is Awesome® . Why should it be in japanese if... a lot of people don't speak japanese? If you're making all the material, you'd bypass a lot of the worst issues with redubs.



But really, the choices are up to the directors and producers.


(I'm happy, I finally finished up the project I had over the summer, so I have 2 months to do whatever I waaaaaaaaaant! Been drawing nonstop. Man, does spriteflipping get annoying.)

But dubs are generally ... pretty bad. I mean, this is my personal opinion, but if the anime is available at all in JApanese I watch it in Japanese with the subtitles. Why go to the extra effort of syncing to a different language when we could just match it to english, for the english audience, and have it look professional?

Most anime studios don't lip-sync in the first place; they just have the mouth flapping about as the character is talking.

Read the posts, people! Read them! It's all included in the first post! The episode is going to include the pages between Jade: Enter (Bec Noir is born) and John: Rise Up (John goes God Tier.) Terezi and Nepeta DO NOT HAVE speaking roles in that span. We're all fans of homestuck here, go read the pages between those two and know for certain the subject matter at hand.

Then, please stop asking to audition for voices. Auditioning for voice actors is long done.

If anything, it would decrease your chances. Lesser known instruments will be less used.
