Hey, cool adventure! I made you a fanart.
This is an Eletus as one of its earlier incarnations.
Also, I vote D, rest elsewhere, same as above.

C: Gotta let our buddy heal up
Maybe also eat some Dirt
Or maybe nibble a Starbud
But Healing takes priority
Wow, volnrok, that's absolutely amazing. Really, blows my pixelated scrawlings in the OP image away. Would you mind terribly if I cropped it for the purpose of making one of those fancy hyperlink sig images I see other, more talented adventure writers using to advertise their threads? Edit: Aw yeah, now I can shamelessly self-promote with the pros.
Go ahead, seems like a fitting use for it.
C- Eat some dirt and wait for the second Eletus to heal up. Maybe we should upgrade before we move on. What do you guys think? We've got 9 points and last iteration the expensive stuff was running 4 or so (although with Cephalize sensory stuff is going to be even cheaper.) I want to pick up Disgorge too.
If we're planning on getting disgorged, we'll probably want to hold off on evolving for awhile. Disgorge is expensive at 6 points and may lose to equally handy but cheaper things.

Let's rest and reCuperate with our aquapede buddy here.

C, yeah probably best to be rested in the event that we encounter any future danger.
Act:
You settle into the sand near the blighted Aquapede and rest in the calming glow of its parasitic growths, letting the wounded Eletus take all the time it needs to recover from your battle. You remain there on the seafloor for a long while, eventually eating some more blue sand to restore your belly. The meal seems... unsatisfactory, somehow. Your belly is filled, but you gain only 2 DNA Pts from the soil. Maybe you're building up a resistance to the stuff?
The other Eletus seems to have mostly healed up by this point, which is great because you suddenly detect something very large and very fast heading right towards you and the Aquapede, who still hasn't moved much since you arrived. (Then again, neither have you.)
Your limited senses and intelligence aren't able to reveal much information about the huge, incoming creature, but you can tell that it is a fish of some sort. Likely a species you have not encountered yet given its monstrous size which, as best you can tell, rivals even the Aquapede.
You have 11 DNA Pt(s)
What do you do?
A) Leave the area before that thing gets here.
B) Stay and see what happens.
C) Go towards the thing and meet it head on?
D) Other: ___________________

Run Away! We almost lost our buddy to some smaller fish, theres no way we could fight the big one.
D) Stay, and burrow into the sand for camouflage.

> Abscond as fast as possible.
Flee! To shAllower waters!
I vote for A. When we've avoided danger before, it's been through fleeing, rather than hiding.
Act:
Not wanting to take any chances with a possible predator or another dangerous confrontation, you and the other Eletus get off the seafloor and head away from the Aquapede. The large, quick-moving fish continues to swim on a straight path to the empty nest and the creature that emptied it.
The fish is a Whiptail Shark: A carnivorous fish species of medium size (though still huge by your standards) that lay their eggs in small, crater-shaped nests usually dug out in shallower areas of the ocean. They feature a very flexible whip-like tail for which they are named, and unlike most sharks they rely on quick, powerful strikes with this tail to kill their prey, rather than rows of sharp teeth. To make up for the lack of mobility caused by this weaponized appendage, Whiptails have developed especially long pectoral and dorsal fins. These sharks are fierce predators, and will generally hunt anything small enough for them to eat.
The shark quickly reaches its ruined nest, and deals a powerful blow to the Aquapede with its tail as it swims by. The long-bodied arthropod begins slowly raising its front half off the seafloor in response to the attack, as the starbuds covering its shell glow brightly in an intimidating manner. The two giants then commence what would surely be the greatest battle ever witnessed by Eletus-kind thus far, but by the time their epic duel truly begins you have already fled the area into more shallow and calmer waters.
You are now in the coastal region of the Arosian Sea! A multitude of exotic lifeforms fill your senses as fish of varying shapes and sizes swim to and fro in a vast Coral Reef, the outskirts of which you have just reached. You once again sense a faint light above you, though it seems very slightly brighter now than it did before. The other Eletus traveling with you is now fully healed from its injuries, and is anxiously swimming back and forth while taking in its new surroundings.
You have 11 DNA Pt(s)
What do you do?
A) Check out some of the nearby coral.
B) Investigate the local wildlife.
C) Head upwards to the dim light.

Assuming we can mate with a clone, I vote for D, Eat some sand, favoring the nutritious blue kind if there are others, then mate with the other eletus and evolve.
I think we should take A look at this coral.

D
Before we do any exploring, I suggest we mate with the other Eletus and evolve some.
I say A as well. I'm curious if we can eat the coral. Not the creatures but the reef itself.
Changing vote to D, we'll need offensive and defensive capabilities before we can go eating corals.

The skeleton of the reef is probably mineral rich and largely calcium, but its living coating might be unappetizing to our eletus. Not to mention we don't know what kind of ire consuming a part of the reef will draw.
A
corals sounds like a fun place
Given our use of protein expulsion in our latest fight, maybe we can put a little more into it this time around? It would be particularly interesting, in my opinion, if we could get to something like octopus ink. Assuming we do end up evolving, of course.
You know what, scratch my last vote. D.
Let's get some Eletus lovin' on and upgrade our vomit attack!
