I really doubt this is the case. Vriska wasn't really one to read people. She was to busy imposing her own personality on others.

If she did, she might of been much better off with some people. (Tavros, although, she did identify what made him weak. But that didn't help smooth her argument out.)

Aranea might be better in this respect, but I think the ability that you described could probably fall under the Mind aspect. No the Light.

This Dirk is just a figment of Jake's imagination, who acts in the way that Jake knows Dirk to be. Because Jake knows him so well, the Dirk in his mind is pretty much a close approximation of what the real Dirk is like. Just like the autoresponder.

I assumed that had something to do with Jake. Maybe the Hope-y thing is knowing things you shouldn't know. Maybe not. But the Dirk personality Jake made up in his mind was created by Jake. He was talking to himself. How he got the extra information in his head is a separate matter from how Jake made a simulacrum of Dirk.

What with how chronology works in Dreambubbles, the Aranea that's about to speak with Jake is probably from a 'point in time' before or after she had already spoken to Meenah with Terezi.

And yes, the Thief of Life is definitely Meenah. I will kidnap and eat the dogs of a thousand children if I'm wrong about this.
