I don't think it is really a thing for ancestors to raise their descendants, even if they are still around by then. I mean, Feferi was really in direct opposition to the Condesce so I doubt she felt any maternal feelings towards her.

Same symbol, same blood color, and the fact there is never more than ONE heiress? I doubt anybody would regard her as anything other than the Condesce's daughter.

But yes I think we are agreed the Condesce didn't raise Feferi really. I don't see why she would though? That's not what trolls did.


I don't know why she decided to raise the other kids maybe it was part of LE's nefarious plot or maybe Sassacre gave her a penchant for having "kids" even though they always failed or I have no idea.

They all know that the Condesce is Feferi's Ancestor. They don't view familial relationships the same way though, Storm. Ancestor's are just adults that the kids are supposed to look up to, there's no mother/daughter bond involved.

I don't think that's quite it, because she frequently goes back and reads what she wrote and either corrects herself or gives a thumbs up to the typos being closer to what she meant to type. It's a schtick she likes, so she is purposely a little random when typing conversationally.

It does point out that we haven't seen Roxy acting competently yet. We know she is competent (the mere fact that she's alive in her circumstances is proof of that), but other than feeding the carapacians, we haven't seen enough of it.

I was just trying out the lipsticks I got for my Kanaya cosplay and green lips actually don't look bad at all. Huh.
I mean, black didn't either, but I really expected the green to look terrible.
