I'm not trying to argue a lock, I'm just trying to get a more concrete definition of the term.
What's considered a thread that "just add posts", or spam? I mean, how much "meaning" has to go into the post?
I get that it's all at the discretion of the Mod, but now a lot of conversations that I think would be fine don't look it anymore. :/ So is there a good rule of thumb?

A thread needes to have a consistent, clearly defined topic, and it requires well thought out answers. The thread which I have locked twice (Would you do this or that thread), did not have either. The contents were too general, and the answer to it were just simply "The first one" and such.
Threads need to be coherent, like the "The Con Air thread" or "Video Game music thread".
