"Pride can be a powerful motivator, and it is surely pride that led to what would become the pivotal point in many persons' stories for the Harvest Tide revolution. Through subterfuge flattery and double dealings did nations crumble and fall.
In the southern colonies, the Queen of Durest consolidated her holdings, pleased at her burgeoning Kingdom's success in battle. After making keen use of diplomacy and information gatherers she did elect to invade the City of Nak, formerly known as Kan, which the Nakkians had conquered and renamed. All the while the Nakkians marched north on the warpath to evict the Cyotans from their island, catching a small portion of their army who were overseeing the construction of a defensive canal, supposedly intended to bisect the island in twain. The army was overwhelmed and annihilated, all the while the remainder of the Cyotans wandered north in protection of their farmlands while their archers garrisoned their sole city. In their enthusiasm of battle, the Nakkians had not thought that Nak would face assault by foreigners, such a shock was the assault.
Meanwhile, the vile Daemon worshipping cultists of Oberga were annihilated, when word reached the Cult leader that their base had fallen to the worshippers of the story god, he abandoned his forces to the mercy of the Velilens, taking his navy he did set sail for parts unknown, his faction and cult in ruins. The Republic of Velile easily scattered the distraught and decadent Daemon worshippers with ease, and its armies met out the front of the great city of Jum to negotiate its peaceful integration into the republic. At first the commander of the city scoffed at the size of the Velilen armies, but thought twice about the offer, after reports of the fearsome piratical nation of Ro Zemer was seen parading its navy along the shoreline of Jum, time would tell of what the Garrison commander's decision would be.
The Veiled Collective of Rsat was slow to react, after the shocking defeat of its navy and the capture of one of its ships by the Mastronere force, it was cut off from its home city and wedged between the walls of Mastronere itself and the army that had been aboard the fleet and was steadily losing men.
In the North West meanwhile, the Kingdom of Resplendor firmly integrated the Askerian Grand Duchy's lands and forces and reorganized their army structure to reflect this, after capturing Frond and disregarding the objections by the Northern Republic of Praegevium, it had set out to liberate the other cities of the Western subcontinent, however its path was blocked as a Barbarian Horde, seeing the futility in besieging the great city of New Land, roved southwards and raided the city of Siccer, devastating its farmlands and population and plundering its wealth, while its brother Horde at Jum boarded their longboats and fled Jum, roving south and landing at Bead and proceeded to try and raid it in the face of the small garrison of Beadian knights in the province. Allowing the K'ddlz armies to leave the Province of Jum, focusing all of its nation's strength on holding their borders, while their brother Wyrdfolk of Jani'De-Nechhulzan, no no, these where the Wyrdfolk who ARENT being controlled by godless abominations... sort of, the Jani focused their strength on securing Bath and moving their first army closer to the K'ddlz to test the waters, and sending a regiment towards Hoppr.
Meanwhile, the Forces of Fort Boulderwood dig into their captured posessions and eye their neighbours suspiciously, as the Republic of Archeon successfully convinces the Garrison of Capp to defect, while scouting the mountains of their southern border. The Dark forces of Jobsworth continue to hound their undieing foes, pushing them back to the mountains as the undead seek higher ground to give their archers an advantage, only to the benefit of the Jobsworthian commander. The spider riders of Anoch'Itlan ride south, intending to invade their seemingly content southern neighbour, only to be shocked as the entire army of the Empire of Allegoria Marches north, engaging the Spider riders on their border, unfortunately, the bogs, swamps and wetlands native to both kingdoms and which both the Allegorian horsemen and the Anoch'Itlan spider riders were specialised in fighting in proved to draw out and slow the charges of both their cavalry forces as the battle descended into a confused mass of flailing limbs and brackish water.
The Order of Malakon meanwhile, tired of negotiations going nowhere decide to press their claim on the city of Kilo by force, only to be surprised as the Dorf forces retreat in short order, not to look a gift horse in the mouth, the Order of Malakon secures the region. While across the water, Portown successfully repelled the forces of the Wulfhold and secured Natre for the mercantile empire, adding to it the lands and holdings of the confederacy of Dorf, inherited by tricky contractual obligations.
In the North, tensions were high and negotiations broke down between the Mageocracy of Lucren and the Republic of Praegevium, tempers flared over claims to the isle of Mac and both nations prepared their navies for full engagements, resulting in the first major naval battle in the northern Hebrides in hundreds of years, meanwhile, the Mageocracy of Ethidian captures the city of Modo, and renames it and the cities of Kladden and Cloper to Prospera, Noxi and Miratio respectively and gathers the remainder of its forces and assails Jox, breaking its agreements and catching its tired and wrecked forces completely off guard. The forces of Andaragon, having rid Sonn of its Garrison mounts its walls in order to hold off the fury of the Viceroy's army trying to retake his city.
It was an interesting turn of events, the larger mainland nations weighing their options carefully, while the islanders threw caution to the wind and embroiled themselves in intrigue and blood-letting."

The Great Nak Has Spoken.
The vile Invaders of Durest have defiled the lands previously consecrated in the name of the Great Nak. Should they be unable or unwilling to exact themselves from our recently-liberated lands, then the Followers of the Sky-Crocodile will slaughter every single invader to the man. The Land of Temples and Nak shall not be defiled by Unbelieving Vandals for as long as the Nakkan still draw breath. We have been chosen by the Great Nak and our Mission will not be held back by one power-hungry Villain.
Those who posses a fleet; we are amiable to terms of settlement to ensure that these Durest hounds are sent home where they belong They have been warned; while we are willing to coexist in peace, the Durestian people will never find a home on the Isle of Nak. Those who share our determination that their threat be stopped before they attempt to dominate all the Isles of the South should set aside their more minor grievances and combine forces with us to contain it.

The armies of Allegoria and Anoch'Itlan battled in the marsh. Horses neiged, spiders chittered, and soliers clashed in the clumsy, mortal fashion of men trapped in a muddy hell. From a hilltop, a king watched.
"It's times like these that a man wishes for a sturdy castle and a warm drink, eh Winston?" he asked his advisor.
"I expect their spiders could scale the walls," the pale, professional older man replied.
"And what makes you an expert on spider behaviour?"
"Well, the ones in my house certainly can. Although I don't know how their riders would stay in the saddle for such a maneuver."
"Waitwaitwait. Wait," the king interjected. "You let spiders live in your house?"
"Yes."
...
...
...
"Have you ever noticed," the king mused, "that in large enough groups, screaming soldiers kind of sound-"
"-I have brought a bottle of wine, if you would care for it."
"Oh thank gods yes."
To be fair, things where going south for Tasr

Calling out the 'giving stuff to other players' as the BS it is. Unless other players are willing to replace them, they should be treated as NPCs.
It's already happened before soooooooooooo... Too bad?
If you are so against it, you should have said so when it happened the first time!![]()
Actually this raises a good point. I will run Swampmist's nation as an NPC from now. However, Confederacy of Dorf will still go to Numbers because I have already booked it.
Might I suggest
anarchy?![]()
