I have been running a DnD campaign.
A few sessions back some had sex and rolled percentile to see how well they did and that was all I did for it.
'You had some sex, you did okay and enjoyed it.'
It's not really a bad thing to have sex in your campaign, its just realistic
If a member of the party goes 'I WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH THAT'
THEN BY GOD MAKE THEM ROLL A D20 TO SEE IF THEY CAN

1) Well, when you establish a character as a 'cowgirl', it kind of shunts alternate character interpretations into a few specific themes. This is okay because cowboys/cowgirls are awesome.

There's always the possibility that after she tried to become cultured, she had to relearn her old accent and as a result it became more stereotypically Western. I'm not sure if that's how accents work (I honestly thought they were hereditary), but it seems like a nice explanation.

Well, we've seen that the Hayseed Turnip Truck has a rather characteristic accent as well. It's not exactly determinate whether he comes from Ponyville or elsewhere though (He knows about Rarity, but he could have just been visiting for the "hoe-down").

AJ's accent is most likely a result of being raised by Granny Smith (Who probably has the accent on account of coming from elsewhere, before arriving at Canterlot and founding Ponyville).

Anyhow, if you listen to the Apples talking for long enough, I can pretty much guarantee you you'll be doing it yourself at least a little. Language is Magic.
