Only Doctor Whooves can really pull off such an outlandish level of fanon and that's because he's a direct parody of something, as well as pre-existing condition.

That sounds like an almost Mary Sue-ish headcanon with how it retcons away all of her flaws into intentional actions. It somehow makes her more one-dimensional despite adding so many tropes to her.

Point of order: you don't need to justify all personality traits. But something like Fluttershy's profound fear of dragons? I mean, I suppose they don't have to, but there are a number of things that would work better if they explained how that came about.

Clearly, Derpy is the warden of Tartarus.

She ensures nopony escapes, but such a job is trying on the psyche, so she lives in Ponyville's friendly community, to keep her sanity in check, and as a constant reminder of how important her job is.

She keeps up the ditzy appearance and acting to prevent any of her prisoners from striking out at her, or her family in revenge (None of them know who their warden actually is). Her job as a mailmare keep from from harm and give her a reasonable excuse as a source of income.

She calls Cerebrus "Muffin". Good dog. Best friend.

I like to think of Lyra/Bon-bon/Derpy/Golden Harvest as having adventures much like the Mane 6. That's why they show up everywhere the mane 6 go.

Also, Pinkie Pie is a scientist who Hasbro paid to delve into a cartoon world. The 4th wall breaks are merely her trying to contact the outside world, to show she's still on the clock, as a safe-guard.

However, she seems to be forgetting who she was. Her persona of Pinkie Pie has taken over her mind, and her former self has vanished into what the fuck am I writing?

She files a lawsuit against Hasbro, and holds a party where the entire Hasbro legal department is invited. None of them are ever seen again. Hasbro shortly makes an announcement of "brand new villains" for season 3. Pinkie Pie quickly wins the lawsuit (Thanks to being the judge, jury, defense attorney and opposing party at the same time), gaining a formidable amount of money and her role back.

After a 9.4 second debate with Pinkie Pie, Surprise decided the stress of animation wasn't worth it, and went back to the simpler life of tumblr, giving Pinkie Pie her role back.

Pinkie Pie then uses her powers to cause others to write subliminally write her into every form of media they encounter, which shortly catches notice of the SCP foundation...

Clearly, the reason why they weren't seen again because she somehow dragged them into Pony World, Ponified them and forced them to party there until their minds were completely shattered. You can still see them as background characters to this day.

Given that the Mane 6 don't seem to have gotten any recognition for being the Bearers of the Elements of Harmony and saving the world twice and the country numerous times, it makes perfect sense that any given secondary/background pony is a hero in their own right.

If you mean the Gala and the Wedding, those were both because of Twilight's connections with people more directly involved, not because of the Elements of Harmony.
Other than the awards ceremony at the end of the S2 Opener, I don't think they've actually gotten any sort of recognition at all.
