If its a thing, it most likely has an internal battery, low quality parts, etc. Basically made as cheap as possible. Probably still like $5-8. Better off just finding a really basic $15 digital camera. The sort that can take pictures and that's about it.

And I can't help but imagine that the members of the 'Main 6' who were left behind would be boss characters, the cataclysm having given them monsterous forms and warped their minds. Each fight would be preceeded by them accusing their friends of abandoning them and expressing nothing short of complete hatred for their former friends.

Sounds incredibly dark/grimdark for something spun off of Kingdom Hearts. Does it even have a happy ending (Equestria restored, Mane Six / others alive and normal)?

The "Equestria shattered by Heartless" isn't what I mean though. Worlds are restorable, and those descriptions sound like Equestria is one step away from becoming a void.

The Mane six characters getting corrupted is where it stops being KH-ish, unless beating them / applying keyblades somehow restores them to sanity / restores them / has them join the party with more flank-kicking abilites. Normally it's the "baddies" (Gilda/Chrysalis/etc...) of an invaded world that get extra-corrupted by heartless (and subsequently vaporized by a keyblade). "Goodies" are normally found fighting back against heartless or generally being in serious trouble, or refugees in another world.

Indeed it did. Equestria would have gone back to normal, though the trauma of the experience wouldn't have been lost on Twilight and co.

Speaking of traumatizing ponies, I had a really weird idea. How about a Conversion Bureau story done from the other side? What if it was Earth about to consume Equestria, and all of the wimpy, impotent ponies (as opposed to bastardly, warlike humans) had to collectively choke down a cup full of humanization serum, and accept all the changes whether they want it or not? Would the average TCB reader like it nearly as much as they like normal TCB stories? Probably not. But it would be a neat experiment.

Personally, I read TCB stuff sometimes and I would read the fuck out of this, and I encourage heartily anyone who so desires to write it. I'd do it myself, but I think you could probably do better (you being whoever is reading this).

Although the best way to undermine it is to find a way to undermine it's 'humans suck, ponies rock' themes, in my opinion.
