Alice isn't Japanese, and Mirai and Alice's last name is British actually. Also, Yuko's a pretty commonplace name in Japanese. It's one of the only one's one a major character that's not a DIRECT reference to her role too (which means it probably IS her real name). Also, yeah. Other love interests coming. Always room there.

I actually looked at some even more common names for Japanese, but they didn't sound quite right. As for not Japanese, I did consider going Chinese with her. But yeah, If I'm sticking with the whole "They're in Japan" thing, "Sarah" would admittedly be a bit out of place even if it would fit.
