Okay, I completely understand hating and not using those usernames.

I guess I just had pretty good ones. Never liked the numbers fad, so my usernames tended to follow the exact same pattern I've used since: word plus other word, with an attempt to make it an uncommon combination. Not that either tended to be as eloquent as Homestuck usernames for things, but hey, I was like ten years old at first... and that was the most creative I got.

Same here, but apparently I thought at some point I had found all the info I needed to make a decision. I did not, which led to my current situation. Really should have checked further. So, yeah, comparatively overconfident I should have said.

Wow, all this self-loathing stuff going around 0_0... so... I guess I'm one of the horribly strange few who find no reason to loath any version of themselves past or present? Should... I feel disconcerted by this? I mean I find no reason to dislike myself. I'm overall a pretty likable kid, although I'm still in highschool so I guess there's still plenty of room for self-loathing? Honestly I'm not looking forward to this.

Weird coincidence that people are talking about usernames here. I was just thinking about my various related usernames.

Princess of Swords is a tarot card. It also sounds vaguely like it could potentially be a class/title if there are more than what has been presented, which is likely. I happen to like it, and have been making this reference in my names for about 8 years or so.

Unfortunately, mythological titles have to be one syllable per word! Princess is too many and is thusly invalid.

I reckon that Andrew probably had some dyslexia problems - he was trying to spell "Word na" backwards but didn't get it quite right.

Oh, I never thought about the syllables, good point! Either way, I enjoy the tarot reference, so I'm not that bothered by it.

Maybe we'll never know. It'll be one of those mystery's who's answers are lost to time. Maybe it involved fairies, or the fabled musclebeasts... who knows... maybe even magic. Whatever it may be. Andrew was a god among men and our loss in him was a devastating thing which we will not let go unpunished! FOR WE SHALL CONQUER THAT BEAST WHO RESIDES IN ONCE WAS ANDREWS PLACE OF REST! AND WE SHALL BE THE ONES TO AVENGE HIS NOBLE DEATH! AND WE SH-.... wait... fuck that this shit's stupid.

You should not feel bad about not hating yourself! That is generally considered to be a Good Thing. Personally, while I don't hate myself, I do hate my past self's propensity for wasting time and being a complete idiot. Hate is perhaps not the right word, but it's pretty close. More accurate would perhaps be, "boggling vacantly at the immense capability for stupidity contained within an otherwise intelligent being." I am mostly used to putting up with past me's bullshit, and he really does try. Were I any other person I would consider that his failures are my fault and that I should stop being such an enabler, but unfortunately I have to put up with any mistakes my past self's failure cause, so I just keep cleaning up his messes.

Fuckin' pain in the ass. Farmin' all these tenses.

Welp it's 1 AM. I am going to bed. Here, have an awesome song! Has anyone made a Deus Ex Theme Slam Jam yet? That should be next on the list for anyone who knows how to make one of those.

I did not recognize you again. Why do you do this to me?

And, though I automatically check every morning, I doubt we will see updates today. Which is irritating, not in an impatience way, buy in a I-have-a-schedual-andHussie-is-messing-with-it way.

A lot of the things I hate about myself is not actually things I can easily change. Some things I cannot "fix" at all. A lot of the hate I have for past-me comes from being so out-of-it and detached that I never realized the things that bother me now.

I'm sorry, but Elvis just wasn't working out. Much like my Cumberbatches, I don't know if he works as an avatar. Plus that art style was really weirding me out.

Going to stick with what I know here.

Edit: On how I feel about myself - I don't hate my past self, I just think he says some boring things occasionally and is kind of nutty. Though I'm also starting to have times when I reflect on my past self and think "Hey that was pretty cool." So that's a good thing, sort of.

There are a few things I dislike about myself, but I don't REALLY dislike them, I just know that they're bad about myself. But I can't be bothered to fix them because they are the kinds of flaw that I like.

Plus who cares I have too much homework to be introspective all the time.

WELL... that's... an odd way of putting it! And I would be a horrible lier if I said that that wasn't in the slightest bit odd. But... I guess I understand? But if you hate your past self's tendency to waste time... maybe your future self will hate your current self for wasting so much time doing that? I'm really just starting to confuse myself here though... but in the end it's still the same you and you just have to live up to what you did and plan on doing. No matter how big the fuck-up it's not like you can change it. And giving yourself a hard time about it is only going to make the situation for your current self worse, which would escalate to a constant stream of self-loathing and general frowni-faceness. At this point I don't know whether or not we should be taking each other seriously. I honestly just need some sleep.

Here's a hint: you are almost certainly taking me too seriously. I have no idea how seriously you are taking me here, but just as a rule you can expect me to make all of my posts while chuckling to myself with a half-smile on my face.

THAT SAID, yeah everything you said there is pretty much 100% trufaxx. I've really mostly accepted, and am working on improving, my multitudinous personal flaws. It's just funnier to me to talk about hating my past-self (what does that even mean, I mean really) and mess around with time-travel-esque grammar. No self-loathing here! Just making fun of myself, and realizing that hey I am really not exactly a perfect person here.

Andus was a mythical horse in babylpotanian mythology who was said to carry eggs of leather across the frozen peaks of mount zippybuttum, the home of the titans. Rewel was a man of strength and courage who was destined to tame Andus by stealing its egg and bringing it to the people to feast on. He charged down the mountain, egg in hand, but Andus was on his tail. Realizing he could not outrun a horse with a thousand gangly hooves, Rewel stopped and punted the egg though the window of a farm, winning the horse's heart. Then the two became the best of friends and invented tartar sauce. That is how football was born.

EDIT: Is 2500 words too short for a first chapter? I think I am being overly brief

I am very aware of this... I'm glad that I'm fairly normal, even though I tend to surround myself with the most insane people(Inside AND outside the interwebs(Shh... some of use internet folks have lives SAY NOT A WORD)). I always used to consider myself an oddball... SURE WAS I WRONG! Although you guys are all pleasant conversation and I would be stabbing myself in the gut(That's an actual saying right...? please say yes.) if I said that I haven't stalked these forums for hours only coming out of the shadows when especially bored. Who knows... maybe I like the idea of psychology? Knowing the ins and outs of the mind and being able to council people? I'm only 15 but I understand the motives and reasoning behind lots of things people do and I myself have grown because of this? I really need to learn to cut down these walls of text.... but I have no other way of conveying what I have to say in a meaningful manner, airing things out through these walls of text is kinda relaxing. Either way, you're right. The Human race is a slew of mis-matched personalities and a large number of oddballs. And one thing I know the best... the MSPA fanbase has got to be the best thing I've ever been a part of. Homestuck has been a great source of personal growth for me, and you guys are a good bunch of people to hang out with.

Damn... if I wrote school reports with this much determination I'd be a straight A student... guess you can't have it all right?

And yea dude, I sorta figured. I just find that it takes out a whole chunk of my time to sorta just... I don't really know? Like I said above... these long text walls... are really relaxing to type. And what you said sorta just gave me the opportunity to write one... I'm starting to think I need serious help on this... but god damnit, addiction is a powerful thing.

This so hard why is it so easy to rant here but so hard to write essays???
