I personally feel the incentive to watch all of the PoVs, especially after reading of someone's death and being curious about it.
I have to admit I don't like the idea of teams, but it has potential (though I missed some of the rules maybe, can they kill each other on that monument?). Season 3 was just... priceless, I never watch let's plays but that one was SO GOOD. I found it sad that most players (and most people who watched the season) agreed that 2000x2000 was too much. I love the feel of desolation and the thought of finding each other after a whole lot of time with all the tension!
About season 3, before watching it I kinda liked Kurt (only saw Farlands or Bust, the footage itself is not interesting but the idea is somehow nice), now I hate the guy. Worst player ever?! He survived by pure luck and being the stupidest moron on the server! Never watched his back while emering from caves at night, bugged creeper managed not to kill him with an explosion, quite a shitty bow-aim, trying to cover his traces with cobblestone, managed to kill pauseunpause only because he was already damaged despite him having noticed kurt a lot earlier, boy the undeserved victories!
How the hell did he end up being one of the two last men standing?!
(He made the best videos though, editing was cool and cliffhangers were just natural)
I like Kurt too, I was really rooting for him to win. He got lucky and made some dumb mistakes, but I think he is a very strong player.
I liked watching Kurt's videos, but I agree that Kurt wasn't really one of the top players. Guude looked to be the best player, and once Baj stopped starving he showed himself as being really lucky and pretty good, catching up to the same point as the rest of the group in about 15 minutes.
The players who I think played the best game last season were Guude, pause, beef, and baj. Bdubs and doc really didn't seem to stand much of a chance, and I didn't get much of a chance to see what etho was capable of. I agree kurt got extremely lucky, but all players took risks and made mistakes, and it's not like he did any worse than anyone else. Plus I like the guy.
Turns out that that lead wasn't as big as they thought...
Guys, I think Guude said he already filmed season 5, so hopefully we can expect to see it soon.
