Do not go back in there just yet, and most of all do not try to attack the building with fire magic as Sigrid's ice magic will make such a thing impossible. Find some clothes first, then you need to look into sending a message outlining your case to the Archmage. A more respectable mages guild might be willing to help you send your message to the archmage. Best-case scenario? Sigrid is put in jail, the paperwork you signed voided, and your possessions returned. Worst-case is that nothing happens, so you don't lose anything for trying. It is best to explore your more legal alternatives to getting your stuff back first. Sigrid likely has Kvatch wrapped around her finger by this point so outside help is the best way to go, and wouldn't the Archmage love to see the Kvatch Mages Guild put under.
Katia: Remove the amulet. Become the wizard.
> Katia: You know, you COULD just hitch a ride back to Anvil and talk to Quill-Weave. Clearly there's something janky going on here, and someone smart like Quill-Weave could probably help you come up with a SMART solution, especially because, living in Anvil, she probably hasn't been exposed to Sigrid's magic herself, and thus could assist. You can also report this behavior to the Mages Guild in Anvil, and they would hopefully be more than happy to help you deal with something that could give their guild a very, very bad name. I think Quill-Weave would be pretty understanding if you explained that the Mage's Guild swindled you, along with everybody else in town. They're not an expected source of it; you genuinely weren't doing something stupid in there. It's really not your fault.
Well, I mean, you could have left when you saw the blood under the door and the creepy mural. Mostly it's not your fault.
... Wait, scratch that. Don't report this to the Anvil mage guild unless you absolutely need to. They get kind of hostile when the subject of Kvatch comes up, but... it is worth pointing out that word of this should get to someone in authority. Arch-Mage or something. And DO talk to Quill-Weave. She's smarter than you, and one thing she knows is con artists and shady deals.

Okay, First thing to do is find something to cover yourself with. Maybe your friend with the neck fetish might help?
Second is to wait till its obvious they have gone asleep. Find a highly flammable part of the 'guild' and set it a flame. Then go for a walk.
Return ten minutes later and volunteer to 'help'. You know where all the gold is and all the magic books. Run in to 'help' Sigrid but just help yourself to her stolen stuff.
Okay seriously guys destroying things is a bad idea. You all whine when bad shit happens to Katia despite your best intentions, then you tell her to go do stupid things that will make things worse.
Katia, do not burn things. Go back to Anvil. Talk to Quill-Weave. Tell her everything, exactly what happened. She will understand. She'll be a little exasperated, a little frustrated, yes, but she knew you were going to the guild hall, and advised you that it was a good idea. Then the guild hall turned out to be sneaky bastards. This is a mistake anyone (and everyone in town) could make (and has made). She's your best shot at finding a real solution to the problem. In the meantime, don't badmouth Sigrid to anybody around Kvatch. They either get hostile about the Kvatch mage's guild, or are infatuated with Sigrid because of her alchemical charms.
Okay, rushing back and confronting the powerful wizard and her honeyed words is an awful idea that will lead to a Bad End.
>Do NOT rush back in!
>Disasters avoided
Now, we need to take this one step at a time. Starting with surviving the night.
>Get some clothing
>Take refuge in the chapel
>Try the praying stuff again, you never know when the gods may take pity.
In the morning, for the interest of not failing your current quest
>go talk to Hirtel and explain that Sigrid basically begged you for the package.
>ask if he'll make a new one
>if no, make sure to check the guilds trash
Now that we've calmed down, we can get back on track and start looking into getting Katia's stuff back
Most important:
>Play it smart and non violent
Well at least you didn't get locked in the dungeon. You could totally go ahead and burn the place down from out here.
This thread is filling even faster when we are on-topic.
Katia: It's okay to cry sometimes. It's a natural response to not getting what you want and there's no shame in it.
Katia: You should get the letter you threw in the trash and get help (as in clothing and a place to sleep at) from the church and whoever hates (or simply is not fond of) Sigrid or the Guild.
Remember Katia. When and if you do go to the priest temple again, Steve is one of the priests there. Whether he likes Sigrid or not he's currently working with her and doesn't seem to like you (or anything really), so avoid him. Be careful who you talk to also. Sigrid probably charmed this town one leader at a time and may have things in place to protect herself. It's possible that only personal friends you make in this town will be helpful. You need to find people who you can trust for help. You made a list of who you've met didn't you? Oh yeah, that was in the book..that's now Sigrids. The man from Hammerfell, the bowman, and the Argonian lady you met were helpful if nothing else. If you see the pale woman again you should try to be friendly. She did save your life.
Katia: I think it's time to come clean to the people who can and are most likely willing to help you. Sigrid obviously knows little to no magic aside from basic cantrips just more powerful than those you can master, methinks she protests too much to your questions about her abilities at dinner. It seems like she probably knows a bit about necromancy, some about a few minor spells, and a lot about alchemy. At any rate, it's time to go talk to the people who can really help you out, the Mage's Guild proper, rather than Sigrid the Scam Artist. You know now exactly what Sigrid's been doing, and surely they'll do something about this injustice. See if maybe someone knows where you can find the Arch-Mage, or even just head back to Anvil and talk to the head of the Anvil mage's guild. Surely someone will do something about this, someone with protection from Sigrid's potion-induced charms.
I was going to add Hirtel to that list, and then I realized that bug musk or not, he would be zero fucking help. I second this motion; You saved the bowman guard from a not so certain doom and the old Redguard seems to like you. Theres also the one member of the fighter's guild who would almost certainly help if you ask mostly because he obviously wants to fuck you, although thats besides the point right now. You could also ask the dancing Nord for help; as a fellow dancer I'm sure he would be inclined to help you out of your situation. You could also work up the nerve and ask future temporary Emperor Brother Martin for help; as a priest and a one time cultist of Sanguine you two may have some things in common.
On second thought, I'm going to guess you've tried breaking into places before and stealing but that didn't go over so well. Tell us, is that how you found yourself in prison a while back? If so, let's not tragically reenact that.

Not that your comment is on-topic yes... i'm a hypocritical prick
Also, still no link to the podcast... bummer
Well, in a town as big as Kvatch, you probably didn't meet everyone... and that mountain of gold means a lot of people have been ripped off. You can't be the only one that realized she was scammed. Many must of been travelers that realized their blunder as the left the town in the nude (I know I must of forgot something). Sigrid probably scammed many of the town's residence to a lesser degree, not so jarring that they would think of Sigrid in any other way than a saint... but there just has to be a group, an individual that has a vendetta against Sigrid. This person will be intelligent or crazy (like you!), he or she will be hiding the fact that they know to avoid trouble from the guards, or a person that no one trusts (possibly someone from a minority). Bottom line, If you're actually want to pull off a heist, you're going to need some help. Katia, keep an eye out for someone that could help you, avoid getting the guards involved because the are under Sigrid control... she probably could talk you into a prison cell if she wanted you to.

PREQUEL SUBREDDIT!
I hate how people forget that they can delete double posts...
Check out my art, it's mostly pencil drawn fanart.
Wait, I don't think it'll be wise to pull off a heist; Those documents that Katia unconsciously signed would probably cause her imprisonment. Also, what Sigrid did......was technically legal.
The podcast comes out on Wednesday.
Katia: Pretend you're still under the influence of her charm and try to plan something from there I guess, presumably by starting with a knock on the door.
Katia: Wait until you're sure Sigrid is asleep. Using your claws, pick the lock. Steal everything back and as much of that gold as you can carry, exit, then BURN THE PLACE DOWN. Then get the hell away from Kvatch. And remember; right before you were suddenly inspired to give Sigrid all your stuff, she put on perfume. Shes a master alchemist, so its not surprising if the perfume is the reason you acted like an idiot.

Katia:
1. Make sure you still have your lockpick (and Quill-Weave's letter).
2. Remove Necklace.
3. Burn it down. Or are you too much of a pussy(cat)?
That's true Katia. You did sign some questionable documents. There is still a big chance that you could be caught while getting your stuff back (but everything is a risk at this point) and you might be charged with "stealing private donations" or something else made up. There is also the breaking and entering, but that's kind of why you should probably do these things as your last stop before getting out of here. You will need help.
