It's more like a mega-Overrun. The giant P/T bonus only happens once, unfortunately, I initially thought that it happened whenever it attacks but it's only when it enters the battlefield. Still, really good! Especially with the other green preview card today, wow! Green tokens got some super love! And then got some hate with that black sorcery.
The preview today I'm most excited about is Jubilation Angel, though. It just says "Fuck You!" to so many different decks, and pumps your dudes to boot! It's a bit fragile, being a 3/3 creature, but for as long as it's on the board you can seriously wreck up your opponent's strategy. It's mostly limited to just mono-white, too.
Yeah, Jubilation Angel seems like it will be incredibly strong in a lot of formats. In Standard, it shuts down all Phyrexian mana strategies, but it's even more viable in Legacy. It's extremely effective against Dredge decks, plus a lot of other black control decks using similar cards. I think the ideal spot for the Angel in Legacy would probably be a Hatebears deck; it would be a bit of the odd one out there, but Hatebears would benefit strongly from both the shutdown ability and a "tribal lord" for its aggro components, and since the deck is generally WG leaning more towards white it could probably pay the WWW1 too.

Considering I love pump effects, and don't use Phyrexian Mana, I'm really liking Jubilation Angel. Craterhoof Behemoth seems kind of out of place on Innistrad, but still looks pretty sweet, a powered-up Overrun stapled to a hasty creature. Killing Wave looks deadly, Latch Seeker looks cool but will probably get opponent hate easily, Moonsilver Spear looks cool but cast and equip costs are high, gotta make sure you're going to get at least 2-3 angels, and Druids' Repository looks effective if you can use it without wasting attacks.
Chimera, did you look at the fake "put 3 lands" version and say it was like Primeval Titan? :P
When I saw the new Miracle ability, I knew what I had to do:
And I keep joking with my friends that as a hardcore Kaalia player I am a bit disappointed with the showing of Angels, Demons, and Dragons so far. Restoration Angel is fantastic and obviously Griselbrand is making his way into the deck, but I'm just not feeling Avacyn or Angel of Jubilation.
Actually, I didn't think to ask, do people here play a lot of Commander? It's basically my favorite format by far, though probably only because nobody in my area has a cube.

I read the POPULAR Fan Adventure Heartstuck, and so can you! (it has to do with lesbians)
Sometimes I say words, and I say them differently from how other people say them! Accent Pronunciation Meme. Homestuck Pronunciation Meme.
And obviously foreign/out-of-place on the plane they appear in! They're from a totally different world (unless they're a native character), they should look like it!
She's my favorite planeswalker to date. Her character description is fun and fairly lighthearted, none of the typical drama and baggage. She's just hanging around on Innistrad because of SCIENCE
I'm kinda curious if that means she's going to be relevant here or not in the story, or even later on another plane. She's alright though, I've never been a huge fan of most blue planeswalkers but I can see why a lot of people would like her. Not that I hate her or anything :P
I kind of hope she's not terribly relevant to any stories, at least not for a while. It's refreshing to have a new walker who's just sort of... a planar explorer. I'd love it if she just shows up from time to time on different planes, not to do anything plot-related but because there's something cool she wants to check out.
Considering the story blurb we have so far is just a rehash of the info in the Griselbrand preview article, I wouldn't be surprised if the Tamiyo one is just a rehash of the AVR player's guide blurb given in her preview article.
The new planeswalker is okay, I suppose you can consider it good with a CMC of 2. The white enchantment looks neat, but I don't know how much it can do at 5 mana.

The enchantment is a much better Juniper Order Ranger, and creates all the same infinite combos with Persist.
The planeswalker is cute, it definitely seems like a niche card. Which is how I prefer planeswalkers (and mythics in general) to be; super-sweet in a fairly specific deck, so that it's very exciting to the people who want it but can keep a reasonable price tag because it isn't being snapped up by everybody else too. And really, the guy only costs two mana, how much do you expect to get out of him? If you can filter for a couple of turns and your opponent attacks and kills him, you've gotten some value out of your very small investment.
Gerry Thompson?
One of the problems I have with the Planeswalker's -6 ability is that if your opponent has creatures, they're most likely going to be attacking him with them. You can't bolt/whatever them away cause then the -6 won't do anything, so you have to rely on your own creatures for defense instead of offense. And if your opponent sees that you're doing that, they probably won't want to play all their creatures.
Which then I guess you could use the -4 to deal damage from all the cards in their hand that they're not playing, so I suppose that'd be alright.
I might end up throwing the enchantment as a 1-or-2 of in a White deck I'm thinking of. I kind of want to throw together a deck with as many pump effects like Honor of the Pure and Automative Automaton and the new Angel and stuff, dunno how effective it'd be but I just love those kind of cards.
hey his -6 is pretty sweet with that blue walker we just saw.
This is gerry's 5 color control deck, he played back at the start of innistrad. The main engines were desperate ravings and white control, with good use of ravings you could give yourself massive card advantage. mostly R/W/U, splash black for unburial rites and green for ancient grudge. You would tear through your deck at such a rate that finding lands for all your colors was really no problem.
Hah. New it! As soon as I saw his art I new he we were going to have an Innistradi Planeswalker.
As for how good he is...hmmm. I only care about Limited, so my guess would be so- so depending on the deck. Still I think if you get him out in a more controlling deck in the mid game he'll smash some face.
This is my current deck:

Any suggestions for creatures for a Nin, the Pain Artist EDH deck with a theme of "Mad Science"? Lab assistants, test subjects, monstrous creations, that sort of thing.
Laboratory Maniac and his Assistant are obligatory, of course, and self-milling opens up a whole slew of new possible inclusions
it's BS that you can't play Swans of Bryn Argoll in EDH just because you have the option to use white mana, but whatever
