Well, Sora's heart(s) connect to Roxas, Ven, and Xion. Ven's Heart is Chillin in Sora, Roxas kind of merged back with Sora in KH2, and Xion kind of dissolved, so some of her may be in Sora(?).

Don't forget Vanitas. I'm just waiting for a hostile takeover in KHIII or something.

I don't know, I quite liked Xion and her plotline. Ridiculously Complex? Yes, but I had been following the other games so that didn't bother me so much. Mostly I'm just a sucker for intense symbolism and heart-wrenching narrative which she had in spades. It's also probably why I like Roxas so much.

The openings are really just to help cover what you haven't seen. I mean, KH2 did the same thing by covering KH and CoM in it's sequence.

Nah, thing is, he can give hearts as well, and he's not the one taking them, more like the hearts were the ones that decided to stay with him for a while, he just took them in. Besides, Xehanort's more the Thief of Heart than anything else.

I've actually only ever completed chain of memories (I enjoyed the card battle system too, although I always played as riku, so I never had to order my deck) and days (I enjoyed the storyline and felt legitimate sad feelings near the end). I've played through most of KH1, but couldn't get past chernabog before I had to return it (and the ps2) to the friend I'd borrowed it from.

Once you've got the deck the right way round so you can do combos repeatedly it's easy as piss. Raknarok is ridiculously OP. However, in the last boss fights it's better to avoid combos and focus on guard breaks.

Kingdom Hearts would be a lot more enjoyable for me if it didn't require me to have 7 different consoles in order to play through all the story.

And even then, I don't get everything, because the Final Mixes are Japan only.

That was plot relevant but you only see some stuff in relation to it in other games.

Basically, this. It's also why I'm getting frustrated with Homestuck. It's one thing to make a complex story, its another to make a story that requires research to fully understand.

i already knew what to do and i skipped every cutscene and so i beat it and got to my first gummi stage at 2:17. a lot shorter than six hours.

i was at 1:30 when i stopped being roxas even though i grinded as him up to level five at one point

Does anybody remember in KH1 when you fight Clayton the second time and he rides in on the invisible chameleon. When Tarzan runs in and gets thrown back I thought Clayton had shot him. It took me a while to realize that the lizard punched him in the face.

The Cutscenes are just that long.

Also apparently KH3 is going to be the end of this first chapter of Kingdom Hearts which is fucking insane.
Basically KH3 is going to resolve everything that happened in Birth By Sleep and finally save all three of the apprentices and then maybe get rid of Xeamaneam,a the No Hearts and Mansex's and such.
BUT WHO KNOWS.
Keyblade Armor for Sora and Riku should be A Thing to see.
