Conceptual Design. A comic about indecision.

An adventure in which to the present has only lead to headaches, knocking yourself out, and a bit of weird puzzle shit. Just a bit.

    The adventure starts HERE.
This thread is the suggestion thread, since I was getting sick of using the "ask" page. So use this thread for all the usual stuff.

The comic started a bit ago, before I knew about the forums, so there's some things going on already. Sortof.
So, new updates will be posted both here and on the tumblr, for convenience's sake.

Somehow, you manage to wake yourself up on command, no ifs, ands or buts. This might become useful in the future.

    Now what?

    > Ben: Just dance.

    Dance…

    Dance?

    DANCE?!

You may not remember absolutely anything about anything, but you don’t need much to be sure that you absolutely abhor the notion of dancing and any of it’s derivatives. Just. No.

Your self-distraction is broken by a buzz behind you. Well, all around you, in fact.

    “Hey!”

    You hear voices.

    “You’re doing it wrong.”

Yep. They’re definitely voices. You may be going crazy. You hold it as a possibility.

“No I’m not. See. Six numbers. The two coordinates.”

“No you stupid! You forgot the decimal point. NO DON’T PRESS ENTER YOU-“

“You idiot! You almost hit the guy!”

    “What guy?”

“Are you serious? You started fiddling around in a room you didn’t even check? Write dash status. Write it.”

*tap tap tap tap tap tap tap*

    *tap*

“Ok. What the fuck does this all mean? I never knew how to read this bullshit.”

“You have got to be shitting me. It’s right there! Look. Entity 35. Live. It’s not that hard to LOOK at the screen.”

    “Whatever. Let me try again.”

    “Oh no you don’t!”

Following that, you hear crashes, more crashes, and very, very colorful expletives. Everything seems to have calmed down now.

    > Now what?

...Crap, we now don't have access to the stuff on the other side.
Also, I just realized, we never checked the vent.

    Very.

    > Ben: Hop over the wall. PARKOUR STYLE.

You’d rather not risk severe injury. Of any kind. Period.

    > Ben: Examine vent, is there something inside?

    That’s much more sensible.

The vent goes on for a bit and then bends right. But… yeah those are deadly lasers. You’re not going in there as it is right now, unless you’d want to go on as Slicey Ben. Which you do not. At all.

(You don’t want to be Slicey Ben)

Squeeze through the gap between the walls and examine those papers.

There’s enough space. No need to go squeezing there.

    Ok. The papers.

As you already said, you don’t think this could possibly have anything to do with the cube thing you saw earlier. It simply makes no sense to you. At all.

And this one is definitely a shopping list. You already went through this, it’s a shopping list. Period. Nothing to do with the cube thing.

    > Ben: Use papers as flags and use semaphore to communicate with these people.

You don’t know any code that uses flags to communicate! You’d just wave around papers and look stupid. Really stupid.

    Nope. Nothing. What a bummer.

    > Ben: Put rubbicks cube in the lazer hole

    Sure. Why not?

Damn this thing is big. You wonder if it’ll weigh a ton. Or two. You hope not.

You’ll just take it and- oh. What’s this?

Heh. You’re having way too much fun with this. You think it'd be a bad idea to put it in the lasers. You mean, you could if you really wanted to, but it might be important. Really important.

That actually seems like a good idea.

    Well, here goes nothing.

Oh. Well that’s discouraging. You thought this might actually work. Apparently it only reacts to you? Stupid cube.

Okay, color your hand with the different markers, OR try drawing one of the different markings from the paper onto the block.

    IT’S NOT WORKING.

    > Ben: color your hand with the different markers.

    Um… ok.

You decide to use all three, just to be safe.

Well that’s a mess. You hope you’ll find a way to clean this off afterwards.

Now, to the cube. MAKE IT COLORFUL!

NOT GREEN YOU PIECE OF CUBE. COLORFUL! OH SCREW THIS.

    SCREW YOU CUBE.

Calm down. You noticed. You’re on it. No need to get yourself in a tizzy.

    You got this.

Why hello there non-lasers. Nice too meet you.

    You enter the ventilation shaft.

You are so going to get out of this place.

You hear a voice from the exit.

“Whoever’s in the vents, stop! Don’t look in the room!”

    You hear a loud thud.

“I don’t have time to explain! Just put this on and jump in!”

    You receive a purple blindfold.
