Also, I noticed we had a solid lead over Gunnerkrigg Court so I went ahead and voted for it. I just love both comics so much! The good news is that once we win this round, I will have no qualms with voting for MSPA over both Goblins or OotS. I really like all 4 comics, but MSPA vs GC is the only one I'm really conflicted about.

I am pretty sure nobody actually cares about whether or not you resurrect that particular topic, especially since nothing much seems to be happening right about now. As long as it isn't like Dead Timelines or something, people can deal with cyclical conversations.

Maybe one of the reasons why prototyping is so important is because prototyping is part of the process that creates the bases. Without bases, exiles can't communicate with you and play their role, whatever that is and however loosely defined it is, in the players' quest.

It suddenly occurred to me again that the bases are shaped like the entry items. Jane's was a tree, but she did nothing with it. The fact that she did nothing with it, could mean that there's no base in that shape! And if no other kid will do something with their cruxite item, there'll probably not be a base for them either.

So maybe it doesn't have to do with the fact that she didn't prototype, but rather that she did nothing with the entry item.
