He seemed pretty scared last time we saw him. Even if the B1 Kids are unable to reunite with B2, all four of them plus the trolls and a FG-powered PM could probably take him down without collateral damage, or minimal, at least.

I'll step away for an hour, it's really beautiful outside and I think I might go take a walk. And eat, too.

Trolls are more of a liability, though.
They're simply too vulnerable to fight Jack.

Yeah, Jack looks like he's going to pace along with them nicely. PM is a variable that I have not considered too much - I should probably do that more!

I looked at the "Forum leaders" page and looked at every member for the moderators, and all little orbs for offline or online were grey, and not a single one was green. I even checked twice.

I think Jack won't be able to go faster. I mean, at the beginning of their 3 year journey, Jack already wanted to get away from PM as fast as possible.

And now that we saw them again, presumably a year later, Jack seems pretty scared of her, which he has probably been for the entire year.

And I don't think PM will slow down, so...I think they really might be at it for the whole trip unless something interrupts them.

So, sadness and laughter aside,
I think Hussie's planned this from the start.
He knew author inserts are generally pretty tropey, but he broke the fifth wall anyways. I think Andrew always knew that his avatar would have to die, or else he would take over the story and fuck everything up.
When he had finished his role in the plot, Hussie was swiftly dispatched. But Andrew didn't just make a throwaway character. Hussie had flaws and emotions and was as whimsical as WV and as insane as Vriska and as self-aware as Rose. He made us love him before he killed him.
Andrew doesn't fuck around.

How about the intermission is over and they start to be active in the main story again (Roxy is there after all) from a DreamBubble point and the next update is a flash linking lab-meteor and B2 together with those DB shenanigans?

Dunno about that... maybe one or two to tease but I suspect the master plan was to place as little importance on the Hussie as possible...

Aradia and Sollux were going to slow Jack down at the Green Sun. We've seen Jack since then, but not them. So it actually is quite important that we see them to find out whether they have survived or not.

I understand that Gamzee might not be important enough to be shown though, I just thought that Andrew would maybe attempt to show every character before the intermission ended.
