Hello. I'm still fairly new here, but these forum adventures seem fun so I thought I'd try one of my own. I hope this idea hasn't been done already though.

GNOMESTUCK




A young gnome stands in a yard.

Once an inanimate lawn decoration, you awake one morning to discover that, through a strange series of events that have yet to be explained, you have been given life! You cannot wait to put your newfound sentience to use and explore the wondrous world around you, but before you can do that you should probably give yourself a NAME.

What will your name be?

Having only been given the power of thought mere moments ago, you decide to ponder the strange round protrusion on the front of your face. Upon closer inspection you discover that it is indeed a nose, with your mouth being located underneath.

Now what were you doing again? Oh right, names.

That's...a pretty good name, you guess? Then again, you've only been alive for a few minutes so you don't exactly have any other names to compare it to. At any rate it should suffice for now.

You begin to investigate your surroundings. You appear to be on the front lawn of a rather fancy-looking house, presumably belonging to your owner. As you try to plan your next move, you find that you are overwhelmed by the limitless possibilities that come with being alive. What will you do?
