I had a lot of trouble with the hand. The original sprite has her holding a stick of chalk, which obstructs her ring finger. (or whatever the second finger from the right is called) So, I had to improvise for her one finger. After many failed attempts, I decided that was the very best I could do, and just stuck with it. Granted, it's still pretty awkward, but it was much better than my previous attempts. And besides that, if you look at it the correct way, it can actually look somewhat like a stable hand of some sort.
