So we have 3 people clamoring for crystals who are ALIVE. We had another, but unfortunately some jerkface daykilled her.

Two are claimed 3rd parties.

One we don't know about, and could be scum. TBH, I'm not seeing para as scummy yet, though there has been at least one minor scumtell that's caught my eye, so I'll have to look through his stuff again sometime soon. Your "guarantee" (which I don't want explained in the slightest since if you're town we're better off knowing) seems more than a little suspicious, though apparently way too many people didn't think so.

Yeah, right now I can't say I regret mashing my crystals. Might as well deny scum any benefits when they decide they want me offed, and I can't say I necessarily trust or trusted anyone who wanted the damn things anyway. They don't help me, I don't trust them not to help scum, and I don't trust anyone who was asking for them. And of course, Science.

The sad thing is, depending on how valuable these crystals are to the maf, they might actually go after anyone with them, or ignore anyone without them. If nothing else, something to keep track of as kills happen. And if you consider me scum for mashing something that scum presumably can make good use of... welp, nothing i can say about THAT.

As for the Tea vs Cat thing, I'm currently undecided. Tea being a doc would gel well with his reaction to cat and her actions. It seems unlikely that there would be multiple docs, but we don't know anything about how scum or their powers work (aside from them being presumed able to take advantage of crystals in some way) but knowing sotek I'd bet quite a bit on at least one piercing kill of some sort.

Tea could easily be scum or town, I'm leaning town, and I think we should give him another night or two before making a decision on it. If nothing else, force scum to kill or roleblock him in some way if he IS town. That said, not very happy that he was silenced, he was one of the most talkative people today and that's very useful for both hunting scum and helping narrow down his faction. So right now if I had to lynch someone OTHER than visceral, it'd probably be y_not at this point.

Interesting conjecture on acio, but I do find it a bit odd. If scum want crystals, acio has crystals, and acio is 3p that is actively working against them, might scum not shoot him anyway? Sad as it is, I almost hope this is the case, since a 3p death would be strictly better than a townie death at this point, though if acio ends up finding scum for us I have no issue with letting him get a 3p win in the process.

I admit that I find this post highly intriguing. Five of us cannot be transformed into animals. IF this is true, then we can probably assume that one of the 5 is the "multidimensional entity" that the D1 bullcrap was all about? Which in turn means that most likely at least one of the 5 of us is scum? This is the main reason why mashing your crystals is scummy - we have definite proof that the crystals acted as an amp for at least one town, possibly more. in fact Cat's role would've been utterly useless without the crystals! Scum can't really benefit from just semi-silencing everyone when all the animals have this big-ass group QT. In fact if Dini reaches his wincon, everyone who CAN'T be in said group QT will be dead and gone, meaning that debates for the day would essentially take place in the QT instead of the topic. The fact that you're blatantly ignoring these facts is what's scummy, not the "Hey well let's not give scum any chances" parts

MisterVisceral - Okay, here we go. While he has indeed stood his ground against attacks, there's no denying that his behavior has been controversial at best. His case on Tea was just not that well constructed, even if Tea's was also not all that well constructed. Actually I can be convinced that they are not knowingly aligned. And since I'm feeling town on Tea, MV is possible scum if Tea flips town. Additionally, has focused on crystals a lot recently, as well as injecting some fluff in his statements. Flips back and forth between voting and not voting for Tea. Overall, light scumread.
