Ok, so, coming out of RVS, i must admit that the majority of my feeling towards cat is MANSTINCTS and meta, and i cant prove a lot. But, by going through whats happened in the day so far i can most certainly show you where my MANSTINCTS drew inspiration.

1) cC has the 3rd most posts in the game - tied with the mod and below only me and Red. This is unheard of. And means nothing on its own, but when added to the rest...
2) This is an election game. Cat has one total post going for the elections. What gives.
3) Cat decided - arbitrarily and (in my opinion) complete without justification - that i was scum (followed by Red)
4) Cat claimed (or seemed to) a defensive role of some sort in her very first post.

Now, this may not seem like much, but this will show you where my thought process started from. I thought "golly gee, if anyone else had posted like cat has so far, their bandwagon would be so far gone that they wouldnt stand a chance."

Then i realised that even cat doesnt usually post this way.

She normally occupies herself by prowling in the night and running for elections, but both of them things havent been the case. Her night time shenanigans - seem to be - out in the open, and she hasnt even run for elections. To me, this suggests that there is something else occupying her mindframe. Only thing left is a mafia QT. And honestly? I may be damning myself by saying it, but i have very strong suspicions of who her allies might be, but i have even less on them than i do on her, so im just gonna...keep it in my pants for now, and see what happens.

But even then, i thought this might just be RVS random shenanigans, and decided to give her a chance to either explain her vote or back right off. She did neither, and in fact, this post:

Pushed me over the edge to decide that she was actually trying to get us both lynched and/or pressured. I can't speak for Red, but i know my alignment, and (frankly) i have a town read this far on Cat. This reeks of Cat trying to get an easy mislynch on one of the two of us (i know i often fit into that category). So, this is a Real Vote, and will stick there until Cat decides that she's gonna, at the very least, explain her vote. Especially because <REDACTED>, which i refuse to say just now, but most certainly puts her high on the lynch list.

And to answer your question, OMGUSes are scummy because you are scared about being voted, and react in a way that isn't commensurate with being town - that is, to vote right back and make a faulty case on it. Trying to push a lynch regardless of the offender's alignment, only for the purpose of saving yourself. That's why an OMGUS is scummy.
