I try to avoid using that kind of language, but I once had political aspirations, so politically correct jargon is another good skill. Also helps you not makes cancer jokes about people who lost their parents that way.

Ugh. You tell me. They just don't leave me alone. I experience awkwardness in absolutely any situation. There are times that I just want to disappear because of something I said. "For the dresses, why I said that!?" is a common reaction after posting something. Here is no exception.

I think I was pretty unnoticeable up until the start of eighth grade, when two of my most outgoing and physical contact-y friends became my best friends.
I got a lot more cheerful and less withdrawn after that, which I think has made some of my bad habits start surfacing in public. e.g. talking to myself and correcting people when they're wrong rather than doing the tactful thing and changing the subject.

I'm probably more noticeable now, but that might be because of my hat. I have had times where someone didn't notice I was standing right next to them until five minutes after I got there. As in, people actually seem to have a hard time seeing me, even if they know I'm around. It's kind of strange. Me being unobtrusive probably adds to that.

I used to sneak up behind people like that a lot too, heh. I think it's mostly due to the way I walk; I've noticed that a lot of other people walk with the bottom of their shoes lightly scraping the pavement every other step, while I walk so that my heel touches the ground before the rest of my foot, and I lift my feet maybe a half an inch higher than normal.
