Basically, get $5, put it in the steam wallet, spend $2.49 on a key, be instantly upgraded to premium, including the ability to find hats and trade, get a free hat (unless they finally stopped giving them out) a free bonus item. Then you still have $2.51 to spend on summer/winter sale specials.
Also you can trade metal/hats/etc for keys.
Oh my.
I am not confident in my Scout skills at all, but I would wear it anyway because it is amazing.
But I don't have much to offer, so I'm going to have to get creative.
Here's what I'd trade for it:
-A Strange Rainblower/Strange Lollichop combo
-The Attendant
-The Grenadier's Softcap
All those. I think that's pretty close to the going price.
If that's not enough, I'll look around for more things. I like radio
Hey, does anyone have an unused Strange Rainblower? I ave two strange lolichops and I'd be willing to give on away.

Oh right, the specs too. I forgot the bonus stuff is only for larger purchases, but still, the specs.
If you just want premium, yeah, buy a jumper, maybe a map sticker. But if you just want stuff in general, buy keys, trade keys. You can always trade them for more than you can buy with the exception of the jumpers and starter packs; eg, even with all the inflation, keys are still worth way more than tags/weapons/hats despite costing the same or less in the store.
Is anyone interested in my Strange Lollichop or my Liquidator's Lid? Not looking for anything in particular, so feel free to throw out any reasonable offer.
We are on page 99, by the way, Kaito, if you want to start working on a new thread OP.
It's something like ten or twelve hours.
Here you go.

I go on a random server to play around with my new Scout's Boom-Bringer (thanks again WordsHere), and what do I find? Some kind of mini-sentry festival, from the look of it.
Anyone on the opposing team who wasn't a Gunslinger Engie was either a Medic/Heavy pair or a Sniper wearing a football helmet, argyle sweater, and cowboy boots, all painted bright pink, with a named and described strange rifle, who used voice commands following a kill (there are a few subtle ways one can tell whether their opponent has played a lot of TF2 and is therefore a serious threat).
So that was a bit disappointing.
Yeah I could have changed servers but that would have taken effort
Also: Thanks Weeaboo for that graph. As a dedicated idler, that provides some useful information ("man, I wish I wasn't idling so I could play Dungeons of Dredmor. Have I hit the limit, yet?").
Also also: I got a bunch of scorched crates and I hate lazing about on trade servers trying to sell them.
Since they're going to evaporate soon, I'll give them to anyone on here who wants them for the low price of nothing whatsoever.
Looks like Mr Tie started the new thread.
