OR it has been reflected back at your medic and ruined the uber he was about to pop.
I have been the cause of that numerous times.
VS Saxton Hale
Stock Weapons Only
The feeling of getting jerked around like that by something you can't control is more frustrating to some than others.
You did an excellent job explaining that, Shroomsy.
But a critical kill is impossible to accomplish without a direct hit, or a very weak target
I think valve added crits so that when someone dies, they have a scapegoat for their shortcomings.
Also, turning off crits isn't at all the same as turning off luck
Either way, if someone's running around doing well, they should at no means feel cheated or feel like they're spending too much time dead
What about that thing that makes shotgun shots perfectly square? (don't put that on... it's.... difficult to fight shotguns)
and here's a few more fancier, perhaps, stranges to offer for whatever price you put.
Rocket launcher, stickybomb launcher, wrench, flare gun, and the almighty Razorback....
oh and a powerjack for Nambato

I'll throw in for the sticky launcher or flaregun
as far as the whole crits thing - ehh, whatever
Really, I don't care if they're on or off - half the actually good weapons in the game don't get random crits or cause crits automatically on their own - but they're as likely to save you from an untimely or unlucky death as cause it

So guys remember how 2fort was a terrible map where it's possible for an engineer to hole up in the other team's intel room and prevent them from capping for like six minutes? That is totally still the case.
ha ha what's all this old crap Past Me put in his signature, get that stuff outta there
I will gladly take that wrench off your hands. At least, if I have anything valuable left in my backpack.
Proud owner of a Rustler VXL, Slash 4x4 (Baja bug) and about to own a restored legit vintage Wild One. Coolio.
Who wants to play 2Fort ever? Besides the fact that a few engineers hold up the match intefinitely, there's no health on the map so you have to keep on going back to the spawn room and it's impossible to get out of the moat from anywhere other than the tunnels. I know it's designed that way, but it's frustrating how a misplaced jump can slow down your game by insane amounts.
Is it just me?
Or does everyone just HATE Ctf maps
Except well I guess
I'm pretty sure everyone's cool with well
You know what I like? Arena
Turbine can be fun as long as you just ban wrenchgineers. Or just frag it up in mid and ignore the objective completely. Turbine Pro is better, more space to move is always better. You're right, Well is cool.
Arena is a lot of fun with the right people and in small doses.
