*Standing Ovation*
Hmm...we should obviously make suggestions for the next adventure in the meantime. Let's see here..
-Terra has the amazing seagoing adventure of encountering no merchant ships for 3 days and being incredibly bored!
-Gene takes a job that turns out to be a "babysit the spoiled royal" job and discovers a surprising lack of corruption in the governing system!
-Martin blows up the universe with his machine, but then goes back and prevents himself from doing so, so everything is okay again and nobody even notices the difference!
-Karis manages to capture some members of that gang they were chasing way back near the beginning and finds out they were hired by a much more sinister force!
-Kells has magical bartending adventures that mostly consist of nothing special happening!
-That one guy who was all manly and strong (I don't remember his name) fails repeatedly to woo women!

Oh, uh, hey. I'm back. Sup. I'll be updating either by the end of the day or tomorrow, depending on how exhausted I am. So, that's basically it. See you then.
Your chumhandle is tracedSparks and you have no idea why you even have a chumhandle, as you have no chums who use Pesterchum.
You also have a text adventure that is always open to commands, LandLost.
This cannot be a command because it is a pre-existing passive effect.
A Wraith of Hunger can't really starve to death. It's not really something that can happen.
That's a bit more appropriate.
CHAPTER 3: IN WHICH THINGS HAPPEN AND STUFF GETS DONE
This was probably a terrible idea. Still, the pay looks good, and apart from any possible random assassination attempts, it should be fairly uneventful. You've already confirmed that you've taken it with the bartender, so you can't back out now. What you can do, however, is go back to just before you've entered the city, as that is the thing that has happened in the correct chronological order.
By the time that you reached the capitol the previous night, just in time for everything to be dark and not to be able to see anything. You checked into the first inn you found, had dinner, and avoided getting into a bar fight, due to having walked all day. It's about an hour or two before midday, so you might as well go downstairs to have breakfast and see if you can get yourself a job, and maybe have a look around the city.
What will you do?
You are now Terra and to say that you are bored would be an understatement. It's officially the start of your second day on the ship, and the first that you haven't spent being a hostage of some kind. It's also the second day of your known existence. You haven't really talked to anyone since the first day, and while you've been established as a proper member of the crew and have learnt your way around the ship, you've mostly stayed out of the way of people, and have just finished your job of making sure some ropes and rigging are secure and in working order.
It's an hour or two before midday, and everyone has settled into the state of having completed most of their important jobs for the time being, and most of the crew is kind of just hanging around and waiting for things to happen. You feel like it's going to take three days or something annoying like that to run into any merchant ships to raid, because that would just be just your luck. At least you might have time to get a class established and grab some more piratey garb than the coat that you're wearing.
What will you do?

>Be Gene.
>Encouner merchant ship
>Merchant ship: Actually be a transport vessel carrying a bunch of hags to a volcano island
>Hags: Be locked in magic anti-magic crates
>Pirates: fail to realize that since you killed the entire crew.
>Terra: Hey look those crates loo like they contain some sweet loot, open them up before anyone else sees them so you can hoard them for yourself

"Merchant ship, dead ahead!"
You hear Anne call that from above, and suddenly, everyone springs into action, and the Captain immediately starts barking orders at people. You're left to awkwardly stand around, until you're told to grab the boarding hooks along with a couple of other guys, and get into position. By the time you get close enough to the ship, and the men aboard realise just who you are, you and the others are ready to cast over the hooks, and anchor yourself to the ship. The people on the other ship are all wearing the same green uniform of a tight and high-necked coat and plain pants, which strikes you as odd for a merchant ship, but then again, you've never seen one, so what do you know about the subject.
In a flurry of movement and yelling, planks of wood are thrown between the ship as they get close enough to allow so, and the crew charge over, the Captain leading the charge. The fight is quick and furious, and doesn't last long. By the time everyone's gotten over to the other ship, and you've successfully gotten over yourself and drawn your sickle, half the fight is already over, and you can't find a good point to join in. You figure you might as well go loot the place along with the others, and follow some other below decks. There are a few men downstairs who were waiting for someone to come downstairs, and another fight immediately ensues, leaving you free to slip past into the room that they were guarding.
The pirates are too busy throwing up a cheer over taking out the entire crew to ask details about what they were transporting. And there aren't any necromancers around to get those answers anyway, due to the previously-mentioned fact.
The room in question appears to be the jackpot, although a rather small one. It's four or five metal crates, which appear to have some symbols scrawled on them that you can't make out in the poor light of the room, and apart from some random furniture for the guards, that's basically it. You can't smell anything apart from wood and water, so they aren't shipping food or chemicals, and you head over to the crates to see what loot's inside. And while you wouldn't hoard all of the loot for yourself, it's first come, first serve in this game.
Anyway, the crates are bolted shut, and you release said bolt, open the loot up and OH GOD THE LOOT IS PEOPLE WHY IS THE LOOT PEOPLE
What will you do?

>WHAT WOULD *YOU* DO?
>RUN, BITCH.
>GET OUT THE WAY BITCH, GET OUT THE WAY.
You consider this, and just as you're about to comply with the getting out of the way, you notice that the people inside appear to be unconscious. Hmm. Also, the voices in your head are rude today. You make a mental note to lodge a formal complaint later during therapy. Either way, the people in those crates don't look like they'll be chasing anyone until they wake up. And they are indeed unconscious, rather than awake, judging by you being able to see them breathing. Which is a good thing, since you don't think you saw any air holes on those crate lids.
What will you do?

>Terra: Look in the other boxes.
>Terra: Look around.
>Crew: Barge in.
>Hags: Awake.
>Slip out before the crew can get in here, let them figure out what's going on for themselves.
OR
>Report to the first superior who comes in that the cargo is apparently people.

Well not necromancy, obviously.
Also,

You were just as surprised, but apparently Barry is the working therapist, having studied it for a couple of years. He's apparently very effective at his job.
You don't think that the voices in your head/subconscious are the best people to advise therapy courses.
THEY ARE UNCONSCIOUS PEOPLE STUFFED INTO CRATES WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO WAKE THEM UP AND IMMEDIATELY FIGHT THEM
That seems to be a good idea. You head for the door, but the rest of the men that were previously fighting burst in, rushing for the loot. You decide to slip out anyway.
No superiors going on, but you find Jack Scott on his way down, and decide to approach him.
"Oh, hey, we found the loot."
"Great. What do they have?"
"As it turns out, the loot is people."
"What?"
He heads inside to take a look for himself. Well, there's that done.
What will you do now?
