Whenever I hear about the whole matter, a certain Lemon Demon song from way back when about a different site comes to mind....

Speaking of Kris Straub, Starslip just finished! Those of you who haven't read it, Starslip was a massive 5 strip a week (sometimes only 3) scifi-humor comic with over arching plot that went on for seven years. What's better, Kris says that soon he'll be starting a new comic similar in scope. Also, the fifth and final Starslip book will be avaiable soon, as well as a Starslip companion guide book!

Starslip is pretty crazy stuff. I could never get into it but I can see many reasons why all of you should get into it.

Yeah, the guy’s art may be simplified, but in terms of regularly making strips, he is a machine.

In sad news, Pete Abrams has finally taken Sluggy Freelance to the dreaded M/W/F schedule due to nasty illnesses in the family, one of them being pneumonia for himself (which can really knock you down a notch for a few weeks, if you’ve never had first-hand experience with how nasty it can be). Though, he has been cutting it down from a real 7-day-a-week comic for what is now a pretty long time come to think of it. Still, he always ensured there would be at least some filler just about every day aside from like a week wayyyyy back when, and apparently even that blank had been filled in later (I haven’t re-archive-trawled to see it; I merely caught up some time in 2002 and read nearly every day since).

I didn't wanna be that guy and start a thread for my own webcomic, so if it's all right I'm just gonna sneak it on in here~

We just started pretty recently! For now updating every Friday, although I'm hoping to bump the frequency up as we get the hang of it. It's a comic-within-a-comic sorta deal: the story of a magical alien girl and a gun-armed supernatural detective, their two respective creators, and how all of them collide into one big mess.

The Case of the Fire Inside, the latest Bad Machinery story ended!
I liked it a lot, the world that these kids deal with is pretty cool and neat, and I thought it was pretty good all the way through.

Have you read her previous comic, Bobwhite? It's also pretty cool (though very different).

Speaking of Magnolia Porter's comics, I recently found another old one called The Good Crook. It's worth a look.

I have read Bobwhite, and it is the bee's knees. Haven't tried The Good Crook yet, but one of these days I will.

Captain SNES is updating with some amount of frequency again and the latest comic makes the most terrible and wonderful joke.

Well, I just read through girl genius and got caught up.
I have since been struck by urges to laugh manically and perform mad science.

Id heartily recommend this to anyone who likes seampunky stuff, !!SCIENCE!! and deathrays.
    Quotes
"We're just going to kill you and then be fine!"
"Behold the terror of the hand cranked runcible gun!"
Definitely worth a read, maybe add to the list in first post.

I don't remember getting that problem before you mentioned it.
