Anyways (again), the main reason I am posting here is because MSPA inspired me to make a "choose-your-own-adventure"-esque comic, too. Would it be alright if I did that, or would I be ripping-off MSPA?
You're pretty close! We have an introduction thread in the general chat forums, and we have an entire subforum dedicated to MSPA chat. We also have an entire subforum dedicated to running MSPAs like problem sleuth too, so no you wouldn't be ripping anybody off! This particular subforum is for discussing other webcomics, and this thread is the general discussion thread. Welcome to the forums, we're glad to have you!

Welp, posted what I want to. Thanks for the help :P
Anyways, go check out my fan comic thing. It's over in the Cradle.
Also, in keeping up with this thread, I am working on a webcomic called "Bored Stupid". I don't know when it'll be up, though.

Wow... the contest has gotten crazy. The projected winner went from GKC to Goblins since last night and again to GKC this afternoon. The one with the upperhand keeps flipping.

If I mentioned my webcomic in here would that be alright? I'm not sure of the etiquette.

    Gunnerkrigg won, yeah!
Shame about the massive hate-fest the contest turned into towards the end though.

The new comment thread they set up after the old one got too bloated with bile and vitriol looks pretty good, though.
It really is a shame that people got so nasty about it.

Everyone knows that the only nasty people are people who are so depressed from being fans of such a piss-ugly comic as Goblins.

(It took genuine effort to override my knee-jerk cringe reaction in order to write that sentence)

Seriously though, I'm super stoked Gunnerkrigg made it through.

i'm just tired of webcomics fighting each other like they need to prove some stupid point, or be judgmental of each other for approval

fuck this shit, i'm just gonna keep reading

(grats to tom though, he needs the money)

All of the prize money was donated to Childs Play. If these comics gained anything, its readers. And I think those are worth more in the long run.

Oh look a Dresden Codak update.

End of act one, and more shadowy figures appear. Who and what are they? What will they do with our heroine?

EDIT: Upon reread, I notice they're the same shadowy figures from before. Still, what does it all mean?

Anyone here read The Loneliest Astronauts before? I just found it and read through it in one sitting, it isn’t all that long, but it is SO VERY GOOD. So, go read it or something I guess? If you want.

Those illusions are personal favourites of mine, especially the second. If you haven't been reading optical illusion books since you were a kid, though, it's probably not very funny.

Matt from Brawl in the Family is back, hopefully in good health and with "comic" 400! It doesn't actually show up in the archives yet, so there's the main page.

As much as I would typically never link to a donation page...

    Look at the bottom right.

Wow, that's a classy donation page! I had no idea.

Also, I had some idea that the boy ("Jivi") was related to the guard-captain ("Toma"), but the wiki suggests this is probably not the case? Hm. Looks like we might be learning more about Jivi in this chapter, regardless.

Usually we post about things that update, or that have finished in a brilliant flash of glory.
I really like RA, and my very first binge of it was really great, and my second one was alright, and the more deeply I looked into it the less I was amused by it I think. I suggest reading through it once and having a hearty laugh, and then not touching it for a year or so.

Also Phevnil, I greatly enjoyed reading that, thanks for posting!

Re: The Webcomics Thread: More Webs-Per-Comic than Spider-Man

There may be some confusion on my part here, but Romantically Apocalyptic HAS been updating, they've been going regular for a bit now. In fact, the most recent page just went up last night.

No problem Dentrala, I was really surprised I hadn't seen posts about it before, even though I had just found it myself.

Huh cool, guess I caught it on Hiatus.

Speaking of infinite hiatus, did anyone read Beaver and Steve back in the day? I had totally forgotten about it. So good.

Hey, you! Yeah, you! Vattu just finished Book 2, which marks the end of its first physical book (or it will, when it eventually is printed). Now is a great time to read this excellent story if you weren't aware of it before now or were holding off so you could read it long-form rather than serially.
