they certainly have similar writing styles, which Hussie has mentioned, and I think it's been mentioned that Dave has pouty lips (although its doubtful they're anywhere near Hussie levels of pout). but Dave and comicHussie are certainly distinct and separate characters for reasons I don't feel like gettign into because character analysis takes too much brainpower and I'm pretty groggy still
