yeah, he's kinda slackign on his moirail duties, isn't he? I mean, it's a two way street right? Karkat makes sure he doesn't go into a murderous rage, Gamzee should prevent Karkat from making a colossal tool of himself.

Maybe if Karkat went on a violent, murderous rampage... maybe... As it is, Karkat may be acting like a tool, but he's also pretty harmless. Just getting into an argument with Dave over touching Dave's cape and who drew the penises. Moirails aren't the quadrant for preventing kismesissitudes or however they're spelled from happening, so it may be okay for him to not be involved.
