It seems that I was being back-stabbed a lot.
Huh.
We love you Kay.
See CSJ that was why I was so suspicious of your deals and promises CSJ
PS what was that message you had Sul send me during the last turn? I kept meaning to find out more but it kept slipping my mind.
It's because I'm a rabbit, isn't it? Speciesist.
As for the message, I'm not sure which one that would be. <.<
I almost forgot; you know that guy who made those lulzy smut books as a player-character? I signed a deal with him (several actually) to not only distribute his works (and sell them myself for a profit) but also print them myself, without restriction. And I was using him to legitimize my smuggling. I was going to turn it from a smut factory to an actual publisher and use it to spread ideology supporting my firm - ie; free trade and classical liberalism.
That probably would have gone rather poorly for you, since you would have wound up directly tied to the firm and everyone but me had spies everywhere.
I also had the idea of using Teo for propaganda, though I guess I was beaten to it.
My Stuff:
Stuff I Like:
The firm had a legitimate face by then, so the risk of blowback was lessened, plus I had no intention to continuing to produce/sell their smutty material if it caused another uproar.
Shame round ended; I never got to sell 'Wesserans say the Darnedest Things' or 'Two Peasants, One Steed'.
I was a huge crime lord in the north of the continent (what was wesseria)
It was pretty awesome while it lasted
I THINK you guys already mentioned this but I'm posting this and then going back and reading everything
EDIT (after reading a little): Okay so yeah I was playing a crime lord at the head of what I was calling the Wesserian Syndicate, basically a mafia backed up by an entire nation (Gallo/An tAo)
Galloglasses was basically funding me and being awesome about it and eventually I was going to start "opening business" in other places and dividing into multiple divisions that were semi-autonomous but all answered to me
My major goals were for the most part to keep functioning societies afloat that were hooked on my market either through de facto means or de jure means (as in, literal addictions or i was taking control of cities and such, which I actually had a couple of Wrinnish politicians readily at my disposal)
I had fully functioning Black Markets in Lemain-Zurih and Lucern (Lucern being my home city) and fledgling "companies" in the colonies (which I owned a decent portion of land in) and Berna (which had opened probably a turn or two before the game ended). My first goal was to dominate Wesseria and then spread out to the rest of Wrin. My next goal was going to be opening the second division Pharmacy's recently conquered cities (I figured there would be high revolt risks and people more likely to turn to the black market) and spreading to the rest of there as well.
I was also sending a couple spies around (Particularly to Wrin, Tivesra, and Palaver) to assess situations and find weak points in government and such for me to exploit, I figure that's worth mentioning. I was purchasing land in the colonies to use to grow drugs and other addictive substances to use in the black market trade, and I think for the most part went under the radar.
As a fun fact, I was originally going to be working under Pala instead of Gallo, but Pallo's nation turned too much toward lawful good in order to keep me around, so I (for the most part) dropped them and went with Gallo, a much better option and someone who wasn't a particular fan of the other nations.
Also, there was some sort of trade company player that contacted me and wanted to help me, but I wound up being given an entire trade company by Gallo so the point wound up being moot.
At some point, I remember, I also decided that I was going to split of the trade company into two sections, one for the morally bad (ie drugs) and one for the not-so-bad (like legitimate trade goods). I figured if I put in some legitimate trade and things in there, it would give me an alibi if I was caught with something bad - not to mention, it opens up a whole new sector for trade.

*blush, chalks up another "backstabbing"*
IT'S OKAY KAY, I WASN'T GOING TO BACKSTAB YOU.![]()
