For our fellow nations;
Two incidents of note have occurred within our Free Kingdom.
Our king has fallen ill. As of oft, the letters he has sent have not been coherent, nor exactly constructed with normal temperance. With investigation, it seems that the likely culprit is a madness-inducing illness, which he may have caught while on travels. Having taken to rest, his position as Head of State has fallen to our fellow member of the Septurbae, Somin Braithe.
As well, the king has acknowledged the power of the Septurbae's seven boards and passed the role of diplomatic signatory to the members of the Subcouncil board and Director Braithe. To keep the authenticity of this command, the king has signed this letter as a final signature.
Meanwhile, due to the increasing conflicts south of the mountains, we have been forced to reach consensus on the issue of the conflict between Daridan and An tAontas.
For closer to the start of the revolution, we took the view of befriending our external neighbors in attempts to reach a stronger peace.
However, information in several historical documents, a lack of an alliance, an overt disobedience to one of our neighbors, and trespassing on our historical homeland, according to record, had forced us earlier to invade and occupy Wesseria.
Still now, the many alliances between quite literally all our neighbors have driven us to a wedge point over the issue of the southern war.
After a long period of discussion, the seven boards agreed on the following items, and to override the king's decision:
1: That we should at least support our closer friends on the issue of the war, were it not for our entangled alliances;
2: That taking either side on this conflict would cause great political turmoil;
3: That the invasion and occupation of Aregoi, which rightfully belonged to neither of the two, was in ill favor, and regrettable;
4: But that however the war cannot be determined by morality on either front;
5: Finally, that we declare a neutral stance on the military involvement of the war itself.
This will be the final arrangement of things, with our land and borders secured, and hopefully now our foreign relationships as well.
Signed,
Kastihe Lothis, Grand Court Judge, Attorney General
Somin Braithe, Temporary Head of State, Director of Internal Security
Andarin Wiktis, Commander-General of the Free Kingdom of Wrin, and Head of War
Meis Teizhe, Censor of the Peoples
Hanne Braithe, Representative of the Board of Development
"Has an Ceannaire seen this yet?" James asked
"Both of them" Seamus replied "We just recently received the new one, looks like Wrin's Government announced the king had a temporary bout of 'insanity' when the first letter was written." Both the Minister of Interior and foreign affairs were walking down a corridor in the Dail, the party had just finished legislating for the day, and Seamus thought he'd enjoy it with smoking his favourite pipe.
"Guess that's the alliance off." James said, tapping the ground a bit, "Wonder if we can warm up to Fergus? of Verr?"
"Worth a shot but he'd still want Saim. If we were to get on his good side it'd take alot of doing to do that without giving up Saim."
"Yeah. As always the north is good for nothing but headaches for the Gaels." James said. Then had a thought. He turned to Seamus, "So how's project Black Witch coming along?"

Public Announcement by the Defense Board of the Free Kingdom of Wrin (Hence known as such)
In spite of the recent aggression of Tivesran forces on the coastal land of Elittany and massing of troops on our very borders - excusable for our own - we will move our troops away from the borders for the public benefit of peace as far as it can be established. We will continue building projects to secure our borders, but because of our previously declared neutrality on the southern war, we would like to establish a stable international position on politics. Warring nations however may request assistance once our own nation's security is affirmed. We would welcome all efforts to normalize international relations.
Signed,
Somin Braithe, Temporary Head of State, Director of Internal Security
[In lieu of the general consensus of the Board of Defense]
