This image causes me to picture Skaia in immediately more hilarious ways. Also, I can't help but imagine Karkat repeating the same conversation with himself for the rest of the trip.

She does! I was so surprised by that; what is she expecting? She knows Roxy has an alcohol problem. But then, maybe she's seen enough of Roxy (identifying her as their mother in dreambubbles, for instance) to actually have some idea of who Roxy is, and be okay with that.

Though this makes sense when the characters are first introduced, I think that we are past the point where we can describe any of the characters as algebraic combinations of earlier characters. I also thing that Dirk's lesser interest in puppets come from a few things. First, he is in the future and can build robots, which are basically in the same vein and illustrate the same psychosis, but are cooler and future-y-er.

P.S. Dave(DirkJake) Because cool people just roll with everything.

I'm not really thinking of the characters as algebraic combinations of anyone, just noting similarities between Dave/Roxy and Rose/Dirk that I didn't expect when the B2 kids were first introduced. Fictional genetics and all, you know, they tend to be like one parent... but in this case, I do think Dirk and Rose have some similar traits that Dave might find easier to deal with after having spent three years with Rose. I don't know.

Also, yes about the robots. Actually, before the future thing was revealed, I found that really strange. Why was he so into robots? Why not in B1? Living four hundred years in the future with better technology explains all of that.

I'm actually impressed that you could think about it and have it make sense! I think? Even just trying to read those posts scrambled my brain a little; they're questions I would never have thought of without someone else bringing them up. For me, it was the kind of situation that, when it came up as a basic concept for a theory, or in the comic, I could read and go "oh, okay, yes, those theories/that plot twist make(s) sense!" - but bring up questions of "yes, but exactly how does it work?" and I would probably be in exactly the same kind of state just comprehending it so you know what maybe that is exactly the same thing.

But I don't know whether this means I actually did understand it just fine or not? I usually just make the comparison to anyone popping into this thread to get an explanation of what's going on. If I don't feel the need to ask, I'm okay.

Maybe I just like rambling because that may have come across perfectly well the first time, sort of like my experiences with these posts, actually.

I understand the theories just a little. A very big part of theorizing is having confidence in yourself that you're right. If you start doubting yourself, you get confused. I can't really explain how I'm able to comprehend stuff, but I can tell you that there's no real learning curve involved. It's mostly a learning cliff. It's a real struggle to understand it, unless you really know how to ingest temporal/spacial oddities. I can't tell you how long I spent thinking about how they got so many Aradias together to take on the Black King.

It's basically like... You shouldn't be trying to take in information, but rather... project what you know. Like... I know that when a time player travels back in time to fix something, they end up creating a doomed timeline because the one they come from no longer has any reason to exist. Therefor, I know that doomed timelines in general should not be accessible to time travellers.

It definitely is good enough! I'm flattered to have been a part of its creation! This seems like a perfectly plausible way to defeat LE and create that hypothetical C1 universe that breaks the cycle while also allowing the Condesce to be an antagonist in her own right, not just because of LE. I'm curious to see the evidence you'll use (when you do get to it) as well as what other people have said about it so far (because I'm still catching up with parts of previous threads). But yeah, this is an awesome theory; nice!

(Also, this could totally fit with any Jake-becomes-LE theories. Or theories where Jake is at all related to LE. That could be why, or a hint, as to why B2 is your hypothesized Alpha session. ...It doesn't have to be. I just like that theory.)
